Re: Are there any other plus-size LIW??
If you're breast feeding you need to make sure you're fulfilling your nutritional needs--both for you and your baby. If you're only consuming juice/smoothies you might not be getting proper nutrition. As others suggested, seeing a nutritionist would be a very wise idea. If you're not feeling good ab... |

Re: Finally Got One -- My 1920's French Cut Eternity Ring!
So beautiful Demelza! Would you consider sizing beads? That might help it fit well and they are very comfortable. It's fabulous! French cut eternity bands are my favorite! Such a classic style, yet still unique since they're not something you see every day. I echo Missy's suggestion re: sizing bead... |

Re: Best bath towels?
We got some great Marrimekko from Crate for our wedding that are still fantastic. The ones we got besides those for our wedding did not make it very long, those were like wicked expensive Wamsutta ones and they lasted MAYBE 2 years before they were thin and crappy. We returned them and got money ba... |

Re: Best bath towels?
I bought a set of Macy's Hotel Collection sheets and they pilled terribly after a few washes. They were so bad I actually took them back used. I bought a set of Ralph Lauren towels about 5-6 months ago at HomeGoods. We desperately needed new towels, the color worked and the price was right. It was o... |

Re: What unwanted creatures have you seen in your home?
I hate to sound preachy, but I BEG... Please don't kill mice and rats with poison. Not only because it's a terrible way for them to die, but because poisoned mice and rats can poison other animals: fox, raccoons, coyote, cats, birds of prey--most notably owls. http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/... |

Re: Travel Advice - Washington DC and NYC
Forgot to add that there's a bus from DC to NYC -- I think it's Bolt or something like that, and it's 25 bucks. Not sure about the details but I'm sure you could google it... Good Luck! I think the Fung Wa bus goes from NYC-DC. Is this the same thing you're thinking of? I've taken that between Bost... |

Re: Smallest ring size ever! 2.5
I read somewhere that even if your weight fluctuates, your finger size shouldn't change that much. Maybe half a size or so. Before I got married and gained 50 freaking pounds, I was a size 6.5-7. But now I'm a size 9.5... And my hands always feel swollen. I wonder if this is a medical issue... Haha... |

Re: The setting or the stone? (partial rant)
What about getting your dream setting and setting it with a "stone that cannot be mentioned" here? Not a CZ, but a m........ite? They're sparkly, and very pretty, IMO. You can get a .75-1ct for about $200-$300 and keep it in the setting until you can save enough to replace with the .75-1ct... |

Re: Dark Skin, Warm Diamond?
Unless you're **extremely** color-sensitive, I think it will look very white to you. The tint in a J colored stone is nearly imperceptible to most people's eye. And I don't think skin color really affects how white or tinted a stone appears. If anything, I would think that the contrast between a nea... |

Coming back from Montauk once I had to return a borrowed car in the city. It was terrible.
