Re: How have you changed physically?

My hair changes color all the time without me dying it! When I was really young I had blonde hair and blue eyes, as I got older my eyes turned green and my hair became almost black it was so dark. When I was in college my hair became practically blonde again and currently it is a really light brown.

Re: What's making you happy right now?!?

$1 iced coffee at Crumbs bakeshop, I think they make the best iced coffee so I've been taking full advantage of their "sale". I'm also very happy to have the summer off and have been taking advantage of some great yoga and fitness classes. :appl:

Re: LITE Foods, What's Good?

I 2nd suzie's thin cakes they are so good! I eat them either plain, with hummus, or peanut butter, or with ice cream as dessert. Since I try to follow a vegan diet I also don't eat traditional ice cream and buy Soy Delicious brand fruit sweetened soy ice cream instead. It is amazing and much lower i...

Re: Thoughts on short engagements?

DH and I had a 6 month engagement which was definitely long enough for us to get everything done. Personally I think shorter can be better because you have less time to procrastinate and you become more efficient. I've seen all my friends with longer engagements obsess over every little detail and i...

Re: What's Cooking?

Tonight I made spicy peanut butter baked tofu with The Heat is On peanut butter from PB&Co over mixed greens. I was going to do a whole stir-fry with it with a ton of veggies and brown rice but DH ended up stuck at work so salad was easier for just me! Tomorrow night I'm trying something new: ch...

Re: How old were you...

We were both 24 when we got married and have been married 2 1/2 years so far and together for 11. Looking back I can't believe how young we were when we got married! DH and I both think that we took a risk getting married so young but so far the risk is working out and we are very happy together :lo...

Re: help with single serve coffee makers!

Right now we have the special edition Keurig and I cannot rave about it enough! As soon as I need to reorder kcups though I plan on upgrading to the Vue, it looks amazing! I love that you can control brew strength and have more size option with the new system. I also order our kcups through the Keur...

Re: comments about my weight

I was actually made fun of constantly in middle school and high school for being so thin, so I feel you! I still get strange comments from time to time, and I'm not even close to as thin I was! A coworker saw me heating up left over pad Thai for lunch a few months ago and was like "I HAVE NO I...

Re: KIA and Hyulndai POLL

I'm in group 4. We sold our car recently when we moved into the city (a BMW 3 series) but if I were to buy a car for myself it'll be another BMW. ETA: Although I always tell DH that the KIA commercials are so catchy it always makes me want to buy one - in which he adamantly replies over "his de...

That's so strange and rude, I'm sorry you had to deal with that! Re: How many of you are satisfied with your diamond size?

Yes and no for me...my ering was my mom's (she's still alive just never wore it so she offered it to me) and it's a .38 rb. At this point in time I am more than satisfied with it and don't particularly care about upgrading it - but down the line there's a good chance I will want to buy a new (and mu...

Re: Have you been to France?

Re: who controls the money you or your SO?

Neither one of us "controls" it, but DH does handle the bills. We fortunately agree 99% of the time on how to spend our money, and I am aware of how much we have coming in and going out- but I do think I should be more involved. For example last night I realized I'm not sure what the inter...

Re: Do you meditate?

The yoga studio I used to go to did weekly free meditation sessions, perhaps one by you offers something similar? The sessions were short, only 20 minutes and they help you find a comfy place to sit and put on quiet relaxing music to set the mood. I found it really soothing!
