Re: CVB LAD Communication?

again.. the forum is going after the OP. So predictable. Its sad.. people DONT post their negative experiences because of THIS EXACT THING. I haven't any clue who's in the right and who's in the wrong - not my journey. I know that I ABHOR the tone the vendor has taken and the private info shared. I...

Re: Doggie dust - rapid weight loss

that's great that the ultrasound was normal! And although Addison's is not great news- it is manageable and you'd have a diagnosis and plan for his improvement. Let us know how the test goes

Thank you Catmom, yennyfire, pinkjewel, DandT,canuk-girl Sharon, diamondseeker, lovesvintage, and Crystal24k!! :) The light was finally a bit nicer today (it stopped raining!), so I managed to get a few nice photos (can you see the reflection of the buildings in the center cab? ) OK I'll...
Re: The Show your Paraiba or Copper bearing tourmaline threa

Pinkjewel and mochiko - Yvonne's large Camellia paraiba ring has always been one of my favorites and you are both sooo lucky to own one! They both are stunning  lilmosun- the camellia ring has been one of my faves, too!! And when I first saw Yvonne's personal paraiba camellia I knew I wanted ...

Re: Doggie dust - rapid weight loss

Pinkjewel, sorry to hear you're going through something similar. I made a comment to the vet about going for the ultrasound so we can get answers and she quickly reminded me there are no guarantees! I sure hope we find out what's going on but I realize it's possible that we won't know anymore tomor...

Re: Doggie dust - rapid weight loss

I'm sorry your pup is going thru this. I can certainly relate- I've spent so much time at the Vet School Hospital near me the last few months trying to figure out what is wrong with my maltese. She's had ultrasounds (yes, multiple), swallowing studies, X-rays, endoscopy, and I'm sure a few more test...

Re: The Show your Paraiba or Copper bearing tourmaline threa

This little cutie is on its way to me. I loved Yvonne's ring so much that I basically had mine made exactly like hers. I debated just a bit too long about adding the outer paraiba melee, but I think I'll love it as is and if I decide they can still be added later. I will post more photos once I rec...

Re: How bad are these cracks on the Paraiba Tourmaline?

the ring looks like it is made from PMC- so it was either heated in a kiln or torched to cure- then usually it is tumbled to bring out the shine. The "jeweler"(I say this lightly) should have known what would happen and no one in their right mind would have cracked it on purpose- so I'd r...

Re: Another paraiba thread...

In browsing this thread, I remembered that you already own some paraibas. Why the rush to get another if you are really indecisive? Okay, I understand the urge to jump while they are still somewhat affordable. I've kicked myself many times for passing/waiting but that is only until the another one ...

Re: Another paraiba thread...

Thank you, Acinom and Chrono for your input.

If I wanted melee in the outer row I believe I am limited to 1mm at most.

Sparklesluver- I think there is something to that and the thought that they are just going to keep getting higher and higher in price when found! Makes it a tough decision.

Well put Arcadian ... As to your question about the outer row Pink Jewel : You might want to check out my pariaba marquis necklace that has tiny 1mm diamond melee. When it comes to this material you have to really decide if its worth it or not. I'm too poor for the type of material I would personally want versus whats out there in my price range these days, which is the reason why I don't have a paraiba. Let me win the lottery though and all bets are OFF! :lo...

PinkJewel, Have to come to a decision yet? I am leaning towards keeping it. They are getting so hard to find I may have to live with the inclusion. You can only see it with a loupe and I'd have to be ultra careful with a paraiba ring anyway. It does have a lovely color and glow. I really li...
