Re: Quick help with WSS please

I use a similar 3" extender and pearl charm anchor at the end of most of my pearl strands (the ones that don't have orbit clasps :) ... the ladies at PP are very good at finding a small, cost effective coordinating pearl :) I also do this. In addition to giving options for wearing it different...

Re: Question about Edison Pearls

Oh wow- I've been having trouble getting on the PS site, so I'm excited to see so many beautiful Edison pearls!!!!! It looks like they do vary as far as the luster is concerned. In answer to some of the questions about mine- it is not one of the wrinkly type of pearls. I'd really call it more satiny...

I think it looks very pretty and it would be perfect with a wrap dress or a low v neck!!! Remember- lots of lurkers on PS, so if you really want it you should go ahead and buy it now!!

Re: Question about Edison Pearls

There is a range of luster on freshwater pearls, AA, AAA or freshadama is one type, fireball, souffle are sometimes more metallic. Then there is metallic which is just metallic. The Edison's are the earrings and their luster is more satiny rather than metallic. Awww. that's the perfect adjective fo...

Re: First PP purchase (Black Friday buy)! How did I do?

Here's my container overflowing with red irony: _24850.jpg Ok, bsomio- since it looks like you collect red lipsticks, have you see the Guerlain KissKiss red lipstick from their holiday collection this year? It is the most gorgeous shade of red I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I can't wear red, but OM...

Re: Diamond Quality for PP Jewelry?

Well, that was me in the other post commenting on the "sparkly" diamonds, and one of the reasons I commented on it was I wasn't expecting them to be that nice-lol. I don't know which settings PP create as opposed to which settings they purchase already made, but I normally find most "...

Re: Help me decided, by tonight!

Looks like you've already decided, but I would also choose the blue baroque akoyas- I LOVE mine!!!!! My preference would also be a white gold clasp.

Re: Black diamond geode earrings are here!

I actually do have earrings with 11-12mm FWs on similar chains but shorter, at a total length of 1.5 inches and they swing a lot. It's hard to imagine they could swing more, so I don't know but maybe shortening them wouldn't make much of a difference on that. So maybe they would swing the same amou...

Re: So I bought some new stuff...

Your wave pearls definitely remind me of Fiji pearls- in fact that's what I thought they were. They are so similar to the J Hunter pearls strands that I am always drooling over :lickout:

Question about Edison Pearls

On the Black Friday sale I purchased this drop shaped Edison pendant. I just received it and the rainbow colors are stunning, but there isn't much lustre. I'm used to seeing my reflection in most of the pearls I've been buying recently. Now, I've never purchased an Edison before or seen one in perso...

Beautiful!!! :appl: :appl: :appl: I can't wait until after Christmas to see them with your necklace! My only question is if they feel heavy with all the swinging? I am going to share something that will probably sound weird, but here goes: I find PP's shepherd hooks to be much finer than other comp...

Re: Rikitea Strand:

In conclusion : This is an elegant and sophisticated strand of Tahitians. The pearls are well-matched and high quality. I was expecting a vibrant blue and would call this color (which changes according to lighting and color of clothing) charcoal/green or gunmetal/teal or slate/moss. I am going to r...

Black diamond geode earrings are here!

Sorry I haven't posted these sooner as i received them a couple of weeks ago. I ordered them to wear with my black spinel/tahitian pearl necklace. I wanted something that would have black sparkle, but not be too sparkly that it would look too dressy. Although the baroque pearl I chose for the earrin...

Re: Drop Tahitian Earrings vs Baroque

Yes, I think the drop pearls will differ from each other less than baroques. And AAA will have fewer or no little imperfections. It sounds like that's what you want. I know it doesn't matter that much with earring pearls since they're worn on opposite sides of your face rather than right next to ea...

Re: Rikitea Strand:

The strand is lovely, but not what I expected to see. From the glamour shots I expected it to be much more of an intense blue. They look more charcoal veering towards blue/teal. It will be interesting to see some of the other strands compared to their glamour shots.

No, I don't think I've ever had that happen to me, and I'm so sorry that those obviously jealous and rude women did that to you. The oufit with the pearls is very chic and elegant. I think that the three strand is very "power pearls" looking and they were just plain envious and probably a ...
