Re: Intergem Pearl vendors, other random questions?

Thanks, ckrickett. I am jonesing for a baroque strand also with lots of different overtones. Good choice!! I love my baroque strand ( from PPs sale last summer). I need a longer one now (LOL). You may also want to talk with Kamoka Pearls. They make beautiful baroque strands with multi colors, too. ...

Re: Intergem Pearl vendors, other random questions?

welcome, Preg!! I used to hang out more on the CS forum, but am usually found over here instead now. Can't help with Intergem vendors as I don't have any of their shows near me, but I haven't heard of too many purchases from there being made by members here-so I'm not sure. I think Pacific Pearls ma...

Re: Help needed for super reactive and sensitive skin...

Missy, I know that it says that people with oily skin can use the soothing gel as a moisturizer, but it is mainly used to calm irritated skin, rosacea, hives, or other allergic reactions so I thought it might help with calming your skin, although you may still need a moisturizer in addition since yo...

Re: Help needed for super reactive and sensitive skin...

Missy, glad you ordered some samples to try. please let me know how they work for you. But did you order the "organic soothing gel"? It's my favorite product and the one that my literature says is great for rosacea, too.

Re: Help needed for super reactive and sensitive skin...

Hi Missy sorry to hear you're having so many troubles with your skin. I don't know if this would work for you or not, but have you tried any of the Dr. Alkaitis Organics products? I don't think the cleanser would work as it has olive oil and coconut oil in it, but the "Organic Soothing Gel"...

Re: Help me find a new foundation??

I recently also searching for a new foundation having used Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua for several years. Now, I am a HUGE fan of Guerlain's meteorites pearls (powders) and they really do add just a little something special over foundation. since you are pale I would suggest the 02 claire. But to get ...

Re: Fragrance of the Day Thread

Wow- so many of my favorites posted recently!!! I love Le Labo Vanille 44- it was probably my most worn perfume last winter. I also love Tom Ford's Cafe Rose and his Noir de Noir is a fragrance I save for "sexy evenings". This one drives my hubby nuts!!! In Serge Luten's line I also can't ...

Hi, everyone. sorry I've been rather absent and haven't posted more photos since I now officially have them, but I got the flu on Christmas Eve and have been too sick to even feel like looking at my pearls again since I opened the box on Christmas!! Anyway, I'm feeling much better and will try to po...

Re: It's here!! Pastel Tahitians and black spinels!!

So, pinkjewel, did you behave and keep these tucked away for Christmas, or have they been out and about to the parties? sigh... I have been a good girl and they were kept in the safe until a few days ago when my husband wrapped them up and put them under the tree. They would have looked so ...

Re: Quick help with WSS please

I use a similar 3" extender and pearl charm anchor at the end of most of my pearl strands (the ones that don't have orbit clasps :) ... the ladies at PP are very good at finding a small, cost effective coordinating pearl :) I also do this. In addition to giving options for wearing it different...

Re: Question about Edison Pearls

Oh wow- I've been having trouble getting on the PS site, so I'm excited to see so many beautiful Edison pearls!!!!! It looks like they do vary as far as the luster is concerned. In answer to some of the questions about mine- it is not one of the wrinkly type of pearls. I'd really call it more satiny...

I think it looks very pretty and it would be perfect with a wrap dress or a low v neck!!! Remember- lots of lurkers on PS, so if you really want it you should go ahead and buy it now!!

Re: Question about Edison Pearls

There is a range of luster on freshwater pearls, AA, AAA or freshadama is one type, fireball, souffle are sometimes more metallic. Then there is metallic which is just metallic. The Edison's are the earrings and their luster is more satiny rather than metallic. Awww. that's the perfect adjective fo...

Re: Diamond Quality for PP Jewelry?

Well, that was me in the other post commenting on the "sparkly" diamonds, and one of the reasons I commented on it was I wasn't expecting them to be that nice-lol. I don't know which settings PP create as opposed to which settings they purchase already made, but I normally find most "...

Re: Black diamond geode earrings are here!

I actually do have earrings with 11-12mm FWs on similar chains but shorter, at a total length of 1.5 inches and they swing a lot. It's hard to imagine they could swing more, so I don't know but maybe shortening them wouldn't make much of a difference on that. So maybe they would swing the same amou...

Question about Edison Pearls

On the Black Friday sale I purchased this drop shaped Edison pendant. I just received it and the rainbow colors are stunning, but there isn't much lustre. Black diamond geode earrings are here!

Sorry I haven't posted these sooner as i received them a couple of weeks ago. I ordered them to wear with my black spinel/tahitian pearl necklace.
