something shiny ;) I think an eternity band or a 7-stone setting might be a nice fit for her. Time to crunch out rocks of Goodoldgold, abazias & whiteflash again it looks like! Are those all still Pricescope approved vendors? ;) |

Sorry if that wasn''t very clear. I''m wondering if there''s a specific setting generally used for 25 year anniversaries? |

Is there a specific "25 year anniversary" ring?
My father''s asked for my help in finding a ring for my mother for their 25th year. He was impressed w/ my work on my now-wife''s engagement ring after I frequented these forums and learned all there is to know more than 2 years ago now ;) So I''m back, to ask the experts. 25 year annive... |

well she tried on a few 5 stones at the mall and they looked really good together. So I think that's more than likely what we're leaning towards. Guess a girl can never have too many diamonds

The Band...
Hey all, been a while, but it''s good to have some time to get back here. My fiance and I went out to the mall to get an idea for what kind of wedding band she might like to have to compliment her ring. I think we liked a 5 stone band totalling about .5 carat the best next to her e-ring, but I''d lo... |

Here's the ad. Sorry for the crappy quality, my FTP server's down so I'm just uploading it straight to pricescope. You should get the idea tho. |

I had never seen it before either. It was actually in a bridal magazine my fiance was looking at. I saw it and was taken aback myself. I'll post the whole ad later on today for you guys to see, the ad was from Vatche. |

are they? well, with the package deal from WF the setting came out less than that, they did really well to work with my budget, I'm really grateful. And, I didn't like the openings on the sides of the Vatche setting, though I wouldn't have minded that third prong on the center stone, just never real... |

WF quoted me $1250 for the setting, total cost of the ring came out to $5100... it's a .813 center and .3x sides. H SI1's and one of the sides is a VS2. All ACA's from Whiteflash. Here's the only thing more beautiful than the ring itself: my fiance http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/images/smilies/1.... |

Thanks for all the positive input She loves the ring, but she thinks I went a little overboard with the price. It's what I had planned and I've been saving the last six months to make sure it happened. She's so worth it http://www.pricescope.com...

I was considering getting a setting from Chic when I bought my ring a few weeks ago too. Their prices are very good and Ophelia answered all my questions. Here's a link to the thread where I was discussing one of their settings, you may want to look at it. I'd love to see someone guinea pig one of t... |

I've been told you can go as low as a J with a well cut stone and you would be safe with color from some of the people I've talked to WhiteFlash. Never got to see it in person though, so that's purely going by their word. Most information I've read, however, states that there's a slight tint of colo... |

thanks for all your inputs. I'll just haveta juggle the pro's/cons of everything. Denise did tell me today that they would be willing to set the diamonds if I did go with the setting from chic for $80 per diamond. So that is an option, I'll just have to make my decision wisely. My girl's down with m... |

so what would you do? Order setting & stones separate and get them set elsewhere, save about $400 on the setting or just let WF handle it? |
