Re: Suggestions for yellow coloured stones

So anyway... I like the one from TGT above, it's a pretty yellow. It's hard to tell myself two yellows is *enough* already. don't keep the ec. don't buy the oval above...don't be sad you sold the supernova chryso...sad sad sad. I saw a couple yellow tourms...but now I can't remember where I saw them...

Re: Ebola: Do you support mandatory quarantine?

If I were treated like shit, and I don't know what the deal is, she was in a tent or something? So, ok, a Dr gets million dollar treatment and she gets to live in a tent, yep, I agree, that's not fair. It's also not fair for homeless military veterans to live under bridges, and I guess were I in her...

Re: How many pets do you have in bed?

Depends, anywhere from 1-4 cats. Britta will deign to come somewhat close to the other cats to get some snuggle time/warmth. I love when they all pile on.

Re: Ebola arrives in America tomorrow on a fancy private jet

Well why the heck not? Why should anyone do anything to help other people unless the US is going to step in and be lord savior and protector?

Re: Ebola: Do you support mandatory quarantine?

We are an entitled, selfish lot, and we allow ourselves to be this way. If you go somewhere, do something, that comes w/risks, then you need to suck it up and deal w/what happens b/c of YOUR choices. But, when we allow someone to thumb his/her nose at us as far as safety for the numbers at large are...

Re: Yellow asscher chrysoberyl

Dibs noted haha! googling and searching pinterest. metal wise, all's I ask is pretty prongs and the bit at the end of the end stones like in my original picture, that sort of semi bezelish touch. Something sleek and minimal. So, I agree, not a lot of metal showing! I went batshit crazy taking pics a...

Re: Yellow asscher chrysoberyl

Well, I figure if I'm working on selling the ec chryso and the round seafoam, I can somewhat justify a spendy setting. Not SS spendy tho. One's enough of those. I'd have to sell the lavender asscher and whatever else I can find to justify that.

Re: Citizen Eco-Drive - Cool or Pleb?

Oh good, I'm glad someone else does too! I feel like the lone stranger sometimes when I'm looking at watches and there's like one with a strap and 100 bracelet ones. This is the one I like http://www.citizenwatch.com/en-us/watches/watch-detail/?model=EM0253-20A

Re: Yellow asscher chrysoberyl

well i'd planned to do two tone like my round chryso, but the color is not really lending itself to yg at all, when I had it w/it. Maybe it will grow on me I guess. The ec was in two tone w/yg at the stone and it looked nice. so..maybe.

It does have green-like the EC I got from Neil. I wish I were that adventurous to do it in rose gold but I don't think I am.

Yellow asscher chrysoberyl

Got this from Gary at Finewater just 45 minutes ago. 7mm, 5.9mm deep. I took photos w/yg, wg and unplated wg. I don't care for it w/yg so that's out right off the bat. It's more yellow-yellow like the EC rather than buttery yellow like my round, which I guess is ok justification for having two yello...

Re: Citizen Eco-Drive - Cool or Pleb?

wow-that's so cool! it would probably be cheaper in the long run then to buy a "fancy" (well, it's fancy to me) watch than the cheapy I bought that the batteries are dead. Too bad I can't get a Dr. Seuss watch like that for work. Gotta spring for the batteries for that I guess.

Re: August Vintage Cushion 3 Stone Design and Proportion

I prefer three stones where the sides are close in size to the center. Not completely the same size-I did try that and while I liked it, I wanted juuuust a bit of difference in size. I think it makes the ring look like one cohesive piece, rather than a center with sides. That's of course my opinion ...

Setting ideas for asscher chryso

Sooo my asscher chrysoberyl from Gary will be here Monday--by the time I get off work and get stuff taken care of before my last sign class I won't have time to get pics on here, so they will probably have to wait till Tuesday. BUT, I thought I would ask for ideas, suggestions, whatever, on setting ...
