I'm familiar w/Panora! South and a bit to the east of us. We're still in the same town we grew up in.

Re: Please share your photos of nature, wildlife, etc.

That would be awesome! Actually, yesterday when we were at my parents marking the iris we wanted when dad splits them, one or two of the 9 colors we're getting, are peach. One is really ruffly too, I'm pretty excited about that one!

Re: Packrat's parents yard

Thanks! It's funny how when I lived there, I appreciated it of course, but didn't understand the scope of peacefulness to be found there. Now when the weather is nice and we are out there (which doesn't happen often-usually mom and dad come to town) JD has to about drag me home b/c I just walk aroun...

Re: Resetting my chrysoberyl

That's so pretty..I asked about the Floret before and he thought the chryso would be better w/a more open setting. I wonder if rather than full petals on all four sides, it could be petals on the e/w sides, or the petals could be on all four sides but be more of a colette bezel look rather than full...

Re: Please share your photos of nature, wildlife, etc.

Love those pics Monnie! You should come take pics of our yard..I'm just a point and clicker. That rose is gorgeous-we got two new ones yesterday for the front. Went for yellow and couldn't find any, so we grabbed two peachy ones. We have *nothing* peach colored so these will be a nice additi...

Re: Packrat's parents yard

Thanks everyone! DF, there's a guy from a neighboring town who does the carvings. If we could afford it, we'd take the honeysuckles off the stump we have and have him do something cool but the cost is wicked. The guy comes to the fair here every year (tho i don't remember him last year..) and has an...

Re: Resetting my chrysoberyl

I loved that too. Earthy feeling. What do you think? Torn. I'd not planned to put diamonds w/it, nor a halo. I'd thought to tweak that twisty ring, pulling up that center twist to make prongs and a couple other things. He's so dang nice tho, I really think I would like working w/him. He said if I h...

Re: Resetting my chrysoberyl

Oooo lookit this! I'd posted on a picture that had the stone and part of the halo about how much I was looking forward to seeing the final result and he tagged me in the that picture to make sure I saw this-which I thought was thoughtful.https://www.facebook.com/410960278929548/photos/a.953657614659...

Re: Packrat's parents yard

I think that's all. I had to do this from my phone so was hard to see pics clearly but eh it worked I guess. Maybe I can get dad to get on the roof when everything is blooming next month. Amazing views that way! Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed the walk around the yard!

Another angle toward the back. The evergreens started as little foot tall sprigs. There's two rows then a row of pine trees and then a double hedge of honeysuckle on the very outside.

Re: Packrat's parents yard

Poop bed. As a side note on this bed, we went out and got a load of manure from one of the pastures and mixed it in. (Thus the name) after planting I was out watering one day and dad came over and hollered bc I was apparently watering corn. I'm like how the hell did corn get in here? Oh...wait..
