Re: What is your definition of a real man?
He must kill the spiders. And know better than to tease me/chase me around w/the carcass. Never dunk me in the pool or toss me in w/out my consent. let me control the remote and the ipod in the truck, and put songs on the ipod that he doesn't care for b/c I do. Re: New tattoo
Just got done w/this about 30 minutes ago. We had to go out and get a large moolatte after this holy shit. Four hours. Sucked. He's leaving the first of July so if we want anything more by him we either need to get in fast, or wait for him to make guest appearances around the holidays, or make the 4... |

Re: Couches? Fabrics?
We've had the most horrendous luck with our furniture, and I'm tired of spending money on things, so I think now we're going to go cheap and replace, since we've been going higher cost/better made and *still* having to replace. We're on our 3rd living room set, in 11.5 years. The latest set is leath... |

Re: Help deciding between AVR and JA's "True Hearts"
I love the M AVR a lot. It's gorgeous. My M's and L center AVC's are in unplated wg and I like them better in it than when they were in all yg. Don't get me wrong, they were still gorgeous in yg, I just like them better in the unplated wg. |

Re: What does your Summer Reading List look like?
Probably re reading a lot of faves. John Sanford, James Patterson, Lee Child and Sue Grafton all have new books out/coming out, so those for sure. I've got a bunch of Stephen King that I've read but mom brought in for JD to take to the police academy this past winter, that I didn't give back to her ... |

Re: What is the ideal part-time working schedule?
I've had a couple part time schedules since our first was born. The first was 10-2 M/T/Fri, 8-close (usually 6) Wed, off Thurs. The second was M/W all day,( usually 8-6) and Tues was about 4-5 hours. Then I had another of 8-5 T/Th and 8-6 Wed. The schedules where I worked longer hours/less days work... |

Re: Poll: Which frames look best for new glasses?
I like your current pair best too. It's HARD to pick out glasses I think! Takes my husband like...10 minutes *maybe* and he always gets ones that look so nice on him. I'm in there trying everything on hemming and hawing and anxious. I feel your pain. |

Re: 1.911 AVC vs 2.14 AVC
I love the O. I like the shape of it a lot more than the other. I don't care for the culet in the M. The shape of the O is like the shape of my AVC's, and mine make me giddy every time I look at them. |

Re: How attractive do you think you are?
Mmmm...a 5 I'd day. Just average. Weight to lose, not good skin and now starting to see lines in addition to the acne so yay for being almost 40. Back in the day, I would've said like 8 or so. We met I think in...1993. He and my brother met at a party and then he joined our group of friends. We became best friends, started friends w/benefits 12/31/99, engaged 2/14/01, married 11/10/01. |

Re: How would you rate your singing voice?
To my ears, I sound silly. However, after spending this year working at preschool where we sing a lot, and I have to be the song leader at times, now I throw caution to the wind and I can belt out Five Little Ducks or Slippery Fish like nobodies business. |

JD wears his all the time. He didn't when we first got married and I think he just got so sick of hearing "Oh you must not want to be married today?" that he just quit taking it off at bedtime etc. I take mine off when I'm at home, and if I'm just running to the store or whatever, I don't ... |

We have about 40k total in debt between the house and truck and two cards. So..that's where it would go. However, what I'd LIKE to do w/it is go to Australia. Re: Weight loss bet with husband - any tips?
Lift weights. Heavy weights, not light weights that you could do 20+ reps on. Unless you start taking 'roids you will not turn into Arnold-women are not made for it. Not weights that you can barely lift either, ones that you can lift 8-12 reps, 4 sets. Muscle burns more calories than fat does-the mo... |
