Re: Heel spurs

Now that I see the Superfeet, they had those in a couple places I looked at today but didn't have the right size/style, or they only carried mens. Figures.

Did some browsing..anyone ever heard of these? They look pretty good. https://www.thewalkingcompany.com/abeo_3d3.htm

Re: Heel spurs

Had to try about five different places on the list of stores but I found one pair of Sofsoles inserts to try. The only ones I could find are the plantar fasciitis ones that aren't the full length size. They have some sort of gel circle thing in the heel, which I hope feels good b/c great balls of fi...

Re: Need some car input--do you drive any of these vehicles?

I have an 04 Escape and love it. I don't care for the body style of the newer ones, after 2012. Although, JD had a 2013, a couple times for stake outs and buys, and he really liked how it felt. The newest I've driven is a 2010 when mine was in the shop...it had light up stuff inside that you could c...

Re: Heel spurs

Thanks for the stretches MZ!

Have an appt w/a different podiatrist November 6th. Holy moly is it hard to get time to see specialists when they only come to town a couple times a month!

Re: Poll:do you think this is weird? Sibling names

Gender disappointment? Are you having a hard time deciding on a name b/c you were hoping for a girl? I feel like it's a danged if you do danged if you don't thing in some ways. People will *always* have an opinion about what you name your kids. Always. You can't please everyone, (nor should you, eve...

Re: Overall, how happy are you with your SO?

Is sleep apnea where you quit breathing and then you like gasp for air again? He doesn't do that. I do check to make sure-not as often anymore since we don't sleep together. He's like the loudest breather on the planet too, so it's easy enough to tell. For a while I thought extra weight might play a...

Re: Off PS how often do you discuss religion?

I've not changed my mind completely, but I've altered my way of thinking enough, become more open minded and broadened my views. Mostly b/c of being on a different forum and the lively religious debates that would come up now and again. There was one particular poster who was very thoughtful and exp...

Re: Off PS how often do you discuss religion?

Not very often. Now and again on FB..like when it becomes the hellfire "I'm right and everyone else is wrong and that's the end of the story you must listen to me or ye shall perish" type a deal that drives me batty. With JD if I see something on FB or tv/news that bothers me.

Re: Overall, how happy are you with your SO?

I'd say 8? He snores like a bandsaw so I've slept in a different room for going on 18 months. And he's not one for picking up after himself..at all. Or doing things around the house in a timely manner so that it either languishes for months/years, I do it myself, or he finally does it after listenin...

Re: Heel spurs

hahahahaha if I had a video I'd totally post it! The pain is mostly in my right heel. A *little* in the left, especially on long days, but the right is super duper painful. My orthaheel inserts came this afternoon so I switched them out with the ones from the podiatrist. I can feel these in my arch,...

I know, and I didn't mean for it to sound like I was making light of your concerns at all, I just feel like it's not something people would really notice, you know? Re: Heel spurs

Thanks MZ. I have been wearing inserts from the store for over a year and it wasn't helping, so I went to a shoe store and stood on this thing that is supposed to check your stance or whatever, got those inserts. Finally couldn't handle it anymore b/c I couldn't walk. Since the inserts I'd gotten we...

Re: Poll:do you think this is weird? Sibling names

I don't think it's weird. It doesn't strike me as a "forced" thing, like if you HAVE to have a name that starts w/a certain letter. I worked w/a woman who's husband was a teacher and they HAD to have kids whose names were A, B, C. She wasn't really finding a name for C, and I said well who...

Re: Heel spurs

I'll have to look around and see how many are available. My brother went to him and the inserts helped immediately. My feet just are more difficult I guess. I was told customs are about $300, and the Dr. said he'd had great results w/the other ones he has. They're like a...collage? I'm not sure what...

Heel spurs

Anyone ever had surgery for heel spurs? I went to the podiatrist for heel pain in May and found out I have plantar fasciitis, and huuuuuge heel spurs. Like almost the entire length of my heels. Dr. said they were about 25 years in the making. I got inserts from him and am supposed to pop Aleve like ...

Re: 34 kids! A father but not a dad.

Based on the article Kenny linked, I think the guy sounds like a dick. "I want to be a better dad to my 34 kids but ooooo these 14 dolls are so hard to hold at one time and I just don't feel like it". A grip on reality is apparently too hard to hold as well.

Re: KUDOS to the NFL for firing player for domestic violence

it's one thing to get a speeding ticket off the job and be fired, it's another thing to kill someone or beat the holy mackerel out of someone. People at some point, should be held to a certain standard level. As an officer, if JD hit me, he would be out of a job. And that's how it should be. If JD g...

mmmm...he's maybe a...five? He *says* he doesn't want anyone to take care of him...but we aaaaalll know how that works. Re: KUDOS to the NFL for firing player for domestic violence

Kenny's right and it's something I've said a million times. In our country it does NOT matter what you do. Especially if you have tons of money or the potential to bring in tons of money. There are people who will spend millions of dollars to defend the rights of people who molest kids. There are pe...

Re: Would you live in this house?

ppppft. I couldn't even be on top of that cliff thing. I would be the spot laid out flat in the middle of the cliff, clutching at the earth until my nails broke and bled. How could I possibly get into a house like that? You'd have to tie a rope around me and drag my a$$ in there.
