Re: Help with Yellow?

ahhhh yellow makes me *happy*! I happened by chance upon a round chryso on Barry's site a few years ago, and have gotten five other yellows since then, and always they end up being sold b/c they're just not my perfect yellow the way my round Barry is. They all end up close, but no cigar. If I could ...

Re: When is a new car no longer a new car at the dealership?

135 miles seems extreme for a new car... I've only ever gotten used cars but I would expect a new car to be much closer to zero. Why would it need to be driven to the dealership - don't they come on big trucks? Related to cars, the local mall got a Tesla store (dealership? showroom? I don't know wh...

Thanks! I'm hoping yellow gold for the chryso is the right choice. Fingers crossed.

I think it will work! It resembles my round in that picture and I like mine w/yg.

Re: New tattoo

It's not so bad, really, when you're having it done. The machine makes a crazy noise and you feel vibrations, but you kind of get into a zone. It's nicer to have someone to talk to or chat w/your artist.

Re: When is a new car no longer a new car at the dealership?

Here in the land of nothing, if you want a new off the show room vehicle, you'll need to go to a big dealership, between 2-4 or more hours away. Or you don't get one. End of story. I've bought 4 brand new vehicles, and they all were driven down here from Minneapolis, and they all had between 300-350...

Yeah, it hurts much! It's tolerable enough I guess. Some spots were more "sharp" for pain is the only way I can think to describe it..it feels like it's in your brain and teeth.

Re: Would you buy a "haunted" house?

Amityville far as I know was a hoax. Not that it didn't scare the bejesus out of me as a little girl hiding behind the chair in my uncle's basement where I'd snuck in to watch it..and gave myself nightmares for 20 odd years. VR-DIBS! DIBS! I call it! I've loved Uppy's ring since the moment she got it!
Re: The Pricescope Hall of Fame - Iconic Pricescope jewelry

Sometimes the things that are iconic aren't always the biggest. Sometimes they're a confluence of styles and fashions that capture the spirit of the time of their production. Packrat's ring brought together August Vintage Cushion cut stones, warmer tones, unplated white gold, and Singlestone's beau...

Re: Experience with Sleeping Pills?

I used Simply Sleep for the first year I worked at the Dr's office-but only one night a week. I've been a horrible sleeper for far too many years to count, changing my bedtimes to match what time I woke up in the middle of the night. My husband uses Nyquil when he works overnights for the first few ...
