Re: Do we have any PERFUME LOVERS on PS?

You're right about eBay missy, but I have found a couple of reputable sellers on there that I trust. There are definitely other avenues to get samples especially if you don't mind decants.

Re: Do we have any PERFUME LOVERS on PS?

I've been hunting for a good "fresh flower shop" scent... someone recommended Cartier So Pretty... I've worn it a few times, I don't think this is it. I want to try Bas de Soie (Serge Lutens)... anyone have that? In addition to the other recommendations, I suggest L'Artisan Parfumeur La C...

Re: Do we have any PERFUME LOVERS on PS?

I'm no expert or collector, but two very mainstream scents I've been into lately: Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noir Prada's Infusion d'Iris Sidenote - I remember liking Chanel No.5 when I was younger.... Now it smells soapy! Weird how our tastes change even when it comes to scents. I loved Chanel No. ...

Re: Do we have any PERFUME LOVERS on PS?

I had no idea about the issues w/ The Perfumed Court. I didn't realize how long it's been since I've ordered anything from them. Thanks for the info Missy! It's good to see that things have gotten back on track, because they were my go to for samples. Hmmm...listing my top 5 fragrances is tough beca...

Re: Do we have any PERFUME LOVERS on PS?

One drop, try Tauer's Auburn and Un Rose Chypre. Totally different from each other. Auburn is from the Pentachord series, only has five ingredients in it. I really must try LADDM at some point. Ive heard rave reviews. From the Hermessence line, I liked ambre narguile and Osmanthus Yunnan. If I can ...

Re: Do we have any PERFUME LOVERS on PS?

I haven't logged into or posted on PS in forever, but this topic is right in my wheelhouse, so I couldn't resist responding! I love perfume like the rest of you all! I love the Frederic Malle line as well, with my favorites being L'Eau D'hiver and Lys Mediteranee. (I really need to try Carnal Flower...

Re: what brand of coffee do you drink at home/office?

I usually buy whatever blend of whole beans that catch my eye at Whole Foods, but if I don't have the time to get to Whole Foods. Lately though, I have been enjoying Starbucks Veranda blend. It's from their "Blonde" line, which is supposed to be lighter than their other varieties.

Re: Upgraders/Setting Changers- Being happy with what you ha

I keep coming back to this thread, because I find the topic so interesting! I haven't commented until now, because I just did know how to respond. However, after some thought, my opinion is this: if you can afford it and the upgrading/resetting is not an attempt to deflect another issue, then I thin...

Re: Need to buy an engagement ring, but overwhelmed !

Thanks for the feedback. I really wanted an AGS stone, and the guy said he could get one if I so desired, but that he trusted GIA as did most of the industry. I also don't want to get anything that's just 'very good', and if there's anything I won't compromise on, it is the cut. I also plugged the ...

Re: What's your least favorite thing to spend money on?

I hate paying anything that comes as a surprise like speed camera tickets, medical bills, car repair bills, and especially home repair bills! Re: 2.7c cushion in rose gold milgrain bezel setting from ER

I LOVE your ring! The setting, the rose gold, the stone (especially the crown height...wow), all of it is perfection!
Re: Opinion on 3 stone CAD from BGD

Your CADs look much better than the original. The split shank (which I like) is what struck me the most. I agree with you, Enerchi, I'd raise the center stone also just to get some distinction between it and the side stones. Your new ring is going to be a beauty!!

Re: Which has more hand presence...3 stone or halo?

I am going to have to agree with the many others on this thread: a three stone seems to have more finger presence to me. Granted I have never owned or worn a halo, but I have had a three stone setting, and people just seem to *notice* my engagement ring more as a three stone setting. Halos might pos...

Re: Would This Eternity Band Require A Spacer?

That is a beautiful eternity band. It's really hard to tell from the pictures if you'll need a spacer between this band and your e-ring, but it does look like there is the potential for some rubbing issues.
