Re: OEC/platinum ring -- good deal
[quote="fel|1358194933|3355413"Rubylane occasionally has red take sales, where for 24 hours certain items are 50% off. [/quote] Sorry to threadjack, but when do these red tag sales happen typically? Will they send an email when one is going on? |

Re: Antique Plat & Diamond Ring
Enerchi, ForteKitty, GemFever, and Rosebloom : Thank you all for your comments. When the ring came to me over 10 years ago, I thought it was beautiful. Since joining PS in 2007, I have learned so much about diamonds that I can really observe differences between old cuts and new cuts, so now I appre... |

Re: Antique Plat & Diamond Ring
That's gorgeous! The diamond is beautiful and the setting doesn't look like anything I've ever seen. liz Libby & Junebug - Thanks! Antique Plat & Diamond Ring
Here are photos of a ring my grandmother bought a while ago from a distant relative. I am not sure if she wore it herself on a regular basis or just purchased to one day hand down to me. |

The Sun Came Out...Ring Photos :)
Ok, I was bored today and decided to take advantage of a sunny day to take some photos. It was frigging cold (17 degrees F), but after my fingers went numb, it wasn't so bad |

Re: when your jewelry preferences don't match your social ci
People who judge others for what they have are just compensating for what they don't have. Just the other day a "friend" of mine noticed I had a new phone and said "didn't you and your FI just buy a house? how can you afford a new phone?" To that, I promptly replied "well, w... |

Re: Should you put your address on your resume?
What was the reason given to drop the address from the resume? I wonder if it has to do with identity theft if the resume is not handled in a secure manner? I personally wouldn't want the HR person to look up my address and make any assumptions based on where I live or my house valuation either. We... |

Re: Should you put your address on your resume?
Ok, I am a corporate recruiter for a Fortune 500. Don't agonize over whether you should have a gmail, hotmail, ymail, or whatever email address, it doesn't matter, for the most part, unless you were going into IT or something and even then I don't care about it. What is important and has been stated... |

No, I haven't been active for a while. Been lurking for the past couple of days, but felt compelled to complement your tourmaline, as it is a beauty. Oh and to say that your photo skills have improved, so glad to see you are posting more photos.

Re: What is Old is made New: Pink tournaline in Art Deco set
The bright pink in that stone is so hot it is blinding. Your deco setting is beautiful and I think the pairing is interesting and lively. If you are not happy, you can always change it, that is the fun of jewelry.

Re: Women 45+ years let's talk makeup
I have the Nars in Orgasm, but I really don't use it that much...Perhaps the Depp Throat may be a better color for me. Orgasm is really glittery and Deep Throat is definitely a better alternative (I own it). It looks shimmery in the pan, but not on the face...it's a really pretty color...go for it :) |

Re: Women 45+ years let's talk makeup
I am 54 and had been using Prescriptives for years, but now you can only get it online with extremely limited choices. So where does an old lady go to look pretty again and look years younger? First of all, you are not an old lady! Secondly, I think Lancome & Estée Lauder could be good options ... |

Re: I need help bling out my e-ring
As others have mentioned, your ring is blingy as it is, and agree that adding stacking wedding bands might give you what you are looking for. Are u open to resetting your stone, if so, what styles do you like (ex, antique, modern, etc.)? |
