Re: Airbnb- any experiences, both good and bad?

I do not have any experience with airbnb, but I wanted to pop in and say that I would worry too much about staying a bit south of Seoul in Gangnam. There is amazing public transit here, you will be able to get into Seoul pretty quickly via the subway. I hope you have a great time on your visit! Arm...

Airbnb- any experiences, both good and bad?

My husband, sister, and I are traveling to Seoul in Korea in Oct. and are considering doing Airbnb. We've never done it before and my husband is a bit nervous as he feels an Airbnb is just more of a gamble and less assured than staying in a hotel. Both hotel/Airbnb will have washer/dryer and either ...

Re: Which of your purchases surprised you?

I have two rings I never wear- my Cartier Trinity rolling ring in the xxs size and a ruby and diamond eternity band. Both were gifts, so I could never sell them, but they don't get the wear they deserve. I wear my Tiffany Lucida 3mm yellow gold band a lot. I originally bought it as a back up wedding...

Re: Do You Like Kids?

I don't particularly like kids, and I have two of my own. I like mine, most of the time :naughty: I wouldn't trade my kids for the world, but if I hadn't had any, I would be very happy (and rich!) as well.

I had a very happy childhood and a good relationship with my parents.

Re: What is Mothers Day like for you?

MayK- I didn't know you were adopted; so was I (and so was one of my kids). :wavey: I'm actually very close to finding my birth family (they think they've identified them, but we're awaiting DNA results from both sides).

Re: Needing some PS opinions...on which way to go

I have a graduated 5 stone OEC and the center is 5.5mm, so smaller than you're considering. It's blingy (I don't mind!) but what helps keep the bling factor from going overboard is that I feel like I have a pretty sharp graduation in size.

Re: What is Mothers Day like for you?

Mine was nothing particularly special. but we're low-key about such holidays in my house. There was nothing in particular that I wanted to do. My 5 year old woke up at 6, but my husband fended him off until around 8 to let me sleep in. Unfortunately, he underestimated the 7 year old, whom he forgot ...

Re: At this moment..how many carats of diamond are you sport

Zero (just wearing a plain Trinity ring).

When I leave the house, I usually have erring, wedding ring, RHR, and studs. Sometimes a diamond pendant, but usually not. That would be 4.61ct total.

Wow, I've never thought about carrying keys separately from a bag. Good idea. I'm not into purses and I try to carry the smallest, non-leather one I can get away with. Re: POLL: three stone OR graduated five stone and which sett

I'm going to second the suggestion of seeing if one of the old cut vendors can source you stones. I sent pictures of my center OEC to Grace and she found 4 matching stones (2 pairs ) to complete my 5 stone. It was ridiculously easy on my end!

Re: Help - Which setting for my half carat RHR?

Actually, ERD made my five stone! I haven't had any issues but it's a very simple setting. I got it when my ering was a three stone halo so that's why I chose octagonal frames as I wanted a different look than my then-ering.
