I had my second (12wk) appt today, this time with my original doc who did my surgery. She was so excited to see me there for an OB appt. She was able to find bub's heart beat easily with the doppler- 145bpm this time - and she confirmed the big ball I'm feeling up near my belly button on the right s...

Evergreen, if it weren't for the bellaband I would have bought the maternity jeans a week sooner, at least! At 8 weeks the fibroid was 8cm. Google says most grapefruit are bigger, at 10-15cm, though it is entirely possible the fibroid has grown to that size by now. Regardless, even at 8cm it gave my...

Evergreen, I haven't had much luck finding pairs of their shorts in the curvy fit when I've been in store, and I haven't yet gotten the chance to check their website. I guess I will next summer! Your bean is officially looking like a baby - so adorable and thanks for sharing!! I have my 12wk appt in...

Awww, me too! Seeing my little blob made me smile every time the page loaded. I'll have to settle for the printed versions on my fridge, I guess, until somebody posts more! For jeans, and pants in general, I usually have a horrible time because I have a long pelvis + curvy booty = need much longer/d...

I gave in and went and bought three pairs of maternity jeans today. They're in the dryer now, and I'm looking forward to being much more comfortable. I realized yesterday that my largest pair of jeans were snug all over, not hanging loose per usual after a few days of wearing them, and the possibili...

Evergreen, I hope the Miralax has helped!! I cracked up at your chocolate lit review - it's totally something I would do. Dark chocolate is my favorite (the darker the better) so I think I'm covered! Blingbunny, I can't see why the Bellband wouldn't work with most buttoned/zipped pants. The one catch is that for it to work well, you have to pull it down far enough that it will cover front/back pockets on most pants. It's not a deal breaker for me, since I can hike it up to get in my pocket and t...

Blingbunny, I hope your US went well! AFM, I've generally had a bit more energy and a less fussy stomach this week, but I am suddenly sooooo bloated. I look 5 months pregnant if I let it all hang out. As a result, I'm really grateful I ordered the Bellaband on Monday. I can suck the bloat in and sti...

Thinking of you, blingbunny! I had all sorts of weird cramps, mostly on the side baby implanted on (confirmed by US), so it could be bub settling in. Spotting early on is also really common. Please keep us posted.

I had my first appt this morning, and I felt a huge weight lift the second baby, complete with fluttering heart, came into view! Measured 8+1, matching my LMP (not my ov date from my chart), so I'm due 11/15. We heard the heartbeat (168 bpm), which made it feel much more real than it has up to now. ...

YAY for the 8+1 gummybear, Everygreen!!! Such good news! I hope the meds do some good for you. Thanks for all the anti-nausea info! I'm nauseated pretty much all day now. Hasn't turned into actual vomiting, but it is relentless and making me miserable. I picked up some sea bands yesterday. Thank you for the ideas, ladies! I ordered DH the expectant father - I'm hopeful he'll actually read it. I also picked up a few pregnancy workout dvds from the library to try out. I figure this way I can try and then buy if I find one I really like. Or just keep renewing as long as I can get away wi...

Congrats on your third boy, amc!! I wanted to pop over to this thread briefly to ask if any of you have any favorite dad-to-be pregnancy books. Yes, they're team driven and each doc has dedicated on-call shifts for covering deliveries, with all times covered by at least one doc from the practice. Good news! The bleeding has stopped! Today is CD16 so I'd bet it's just ovulation bleeding. Big hugs, RT. That is horribly frustrating and sucky. 12dpo, no sign of AF (she'd normally be here by this morning), spotting has dried up, and as of today's SMU, full, non-squinter, lines! My temp also jumped up this morning (99.1, after holding at 98.8 since 9dpo). Yippee!!!
