Yeah, what are you two doing hanging around in TTC, anyway?!? Get your pregnant butts out of here! :snooty: :hand:

(completely joking, of course)

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

I don't think you were holding your breath on this one, but still sorry about CD1, baby monster. Me, I'm CD12, but not using OPKs since I haven't bought any yet. The start of my window has always been marked well by my non-BBT signs, so my plan is to continue the shotgun approach for at least this a...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

My consolation is that regardless of what attention our children get or don't get from my parents, they will get attention in spades from DH's family. DH has a younger sister who may or may not end up having children, but even if she does his family absolutely lives for their offspring and will read...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Thankfully both sides of our family are pretty quiet about us and kids. They all know we want kids but had to wait because of conflicts with school/work. I was finishing my PhD, and that in and of itself isn't a hard and fast barrier. However, I was doing experiments requiring I frequently handle te...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

I can completely see how even well-intended comments, on repeat, would quickly feel like intrusive nagging. I'm sure on some level they just want to soothe any anxiety you might have on whether or not it's a good idea to grow your family, but the truth is that good or not is for you, not them, to fi...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

4ever, unfortunately, without knowing definitively if and when you ovulated, you're right...it's a waiting game. Fingers crossed you get your answer soon! As for your wondering if it could take longer to get a BFP on a HPT because of a shorter cycle, that totally depends on when you ovulate. If you ...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Mousey, I would agree it could be that in some cases, but in my particular case I'm pretty sure it's not, based on the miniscule difference in frequency (thanks to DH being out of town so much for work). AF finished and I feel more like I did 10 years ago than any time in recent memory.

Have fun wool shopping!! A good shop is so dangerous... I have a couple small hanks in a gorgeous rich garnet tweed that I intend to use for a hat, but before I can start that I really should finish the gloves and scarf that have been halfway done for, I can't believe it, years . I get distracted, p...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

I've been tempted to start knitting a baby blanket or make a quilt, but I have way too many other unfinished projects to justify it. In other words, the "crazy" factor isn't the deciding issue. :) There is a pregnancy book sitting on the coffee table, I have plans to hit the library and ta...

Haha, yep, I hear ya. I'm an 81 baby, and I was one of 3 in my first grade classroom. The irony is my mom liked the name in part because she'd only met one person with the name her entire life. Whoops. Though, we were still outnumbered by the Jennifers, Jessicas and Lindsay/Lindseys...

I used my last opk yesterday but finally got a positive. O should be today so hoping that I don't need to place another order. Yay! Fingers crossed for you!! Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Thanks for your interpretation, April! I'm inclined to agree with you that FF is wrong, especially because much of the reason I marked it the way I did in the first place was based on my other signs/how I felt those days. Also, I almost always get O spotting 2 days after (by which point it's brownis...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

It was 98.6 at 6am this morning, but I woke up around 3am and tossed and turned so much that I'm not convinced it's trustworthy. Then again, I don't think my temp reaches 98.6 at any time of day before I ov. The red dots at the top are where Kindara predicted AF based on last month. Red dots at the ...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Thanks, April. Yes, my new batch look like that. Tested again this morning with a knock-off and real Wondfo side by side. The strips look like twins other than label color, until you dip them. The Wondfo dye flows much more smoothly, and its control line is darker with more defined edges. So, for a ...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

I got my replacements, and they are real Wondfos. Unfortunately they are 50 Wondfos marked with an 8/2015 expiration. I guess it's a great excuse to test obsessively, though I suspect they'd work fine well past August. How are you ladies today? Me: Still no AF, still spotting, and temp is still up (...

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Hmmm, I did some digging around, and if you look at the list of other sellers and their prices for the same item description, the ones starting at 18.99 for a 50 count of the HCG include sellers that note themselves as authorized distributors of Wondfo USA products. I'm going to give one of them a s...

Mine came from a 3rd party seller named EverythingDeals, fulfilled by Amazon, in a listing titled "Wondfo Pregnancy Test Strips, 50-count" by Wondfo. The picture shows the packaging with "Wondfo" on it in large print.

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Can somebody with the real Wondfos check what the fine print says on the back of the envelope? The front of mine say HCG where Wondfo is printed in the photos I've seen, but the fine print for the company on the back does list something that has Wondfo in the name. I'll check for what exactly it say...
