Re: When you're told being gay is a sin ...

The people posting their awful signs are ignorant and pathetic in my view. Well, we do have freedom of religion, and religions are, and should remain, free to teach whatever they want. I proudly served in the US military for six years of active duty to protect our freedoms including this one. I als...

As a male, I pretty much have no-one to talk to except through posting on PS - the only comments I got back when I mentioned in passing to friends that I wanted a fat rock in my wedding ring (when the big day comes to wed my good lady) because they are preeeeeetty  and I like thinking about t...

Re: EU Referendum: Best night to Buy Kiki!

I admit to ignorance about Brexit. Why did it happen? What will be the result ... both the big picture and the nuances. Does anyone know a balanced, calm, UNBIASED website/story/blog etc. that sums up the Brexit pros and cons? I'm looking for a summary that is not a tunnel-vision sales pitch for one...

Re: Dog Meat Festival! ... Yummy Yummy?

^I don't have an answer for that, but I certainly wouldn't tell someone that they shouldn't eat dog when I eat cows, pigs, chickens, and fish. Here's how I draw the line on how I feel about what happens in other cultures. I just check in with myself. Burying the bottom half of a woman in the ground...

Re: Dog Meat Festival! ... Yummy Yummy?

Just because you've been doing it for 500 years doesn't mean it's ok. Anyone been to a Morrissey concert? :errrr: But just because one might live in a culture that doesn't eat dog meat, doesn't mean that it's not okay in another culture. And, again, I'm not dressing the ethical/unethical treatment ...

Re: Does your social circle care about jewelery?

Nope. They'll mention they think something is pretty or whatever, but the rest of it, that they're avc's, that it's a custom setting, etc, or the chryoberyl (the what? the yellow stone? it's a wha-?), saying that someone made it specifically for *me* based off what I came up w/in my head, talking t...

Re: Does your social circle care about jewelery?

Few people I know care about jewelry.
If a women is married and wears a rock it's usually 0.5 to 0.75 ct.

One neighbor gets all excited over my Octavia.
We've had long conversations on diamond cut, as her husband rolled his eyes. :naughty: :D
I suspect there is a well-cut sparkler in her future.

I wouldn't try it. I'm honestly torn. I have no problem eating other animals. I couldn't eat a dog, but I feel bad having to admit that I have no reason. I'm irrational on this one. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-36583400 Partial Snip: "An annual dog meat festival has begun in souther...

IMO custom jewelry projects are VEEEEERY risky. I would never take such a risk on such an expensive, important and emotional purchase! Never! Never! Never! Re: Is this a colored diamond?

You'd have to see the GIA report to find out whether GIA graded it on their D-Z white diamond scale or their Fancy Colored Diamonds scale. You can't tell by pictures, especially when the color looks light brown. If it has an FCD report from any other lab than GIA I would not buy it. I'd fear overpay...
