Re: The psychology behind Costco's free samples

I believe samples are offered during certain hours so maybe you can shop other times if it is frustrating for you. No at my local Costco. It seems they are now there every minute Costco is open. But thanks for reminding me ... I need to ask the manager if there is a free-sample-free time. But yes, ...

Re: The psychology behind Costco's free samples

I don't understand the annoyance of the free samples. Seems to trigger some people. Overall Costco seems like a great company. They treat their employees and customers well. I hate and boycott all free samples at Costco because they block the aisles. :wall: The place is already overcrowded. :angryf...

It's totally possible if I tried your machine I'd buy one too. :sun:

Just because I'm happy with my gear that certainly doesn't mean it's best or the same.

If I come visit just don't make me any coffee.
But I will have a glass of wine. :cheeky:

We have this $6.50 frother which whips up the cream nicely. http://www.amazon.com/b?node=14042381 jdfjdshkfjhd.jpg YMMV, I'm not poo pooing anything or criticizing! I love lots of my expensive doodads too. I'm just a super tightwad with almost everything so I can splurge on a few things.

Fifteen, shmifteen!

It's okay to give your 15-year old kid toys that portray drug dealing and meth labs as cool?

For that, I think the minimum age should be 128. :knockout:

Pods are very very very NOT green, and probably the most-expensive way to buy coffee. :knockout:

My worms eat the coffee grounds and the paper filters and convert it to fertilizer for garden and house plants.

Re: Coffee lovers... would you pay $349 for this machine?

Every morning I make a cup of the best coffee I've ever tasted in my pour-over thinge. I think I paid 25 cents for it many years ago in a thrift store. Suspecting it may taste of plastic I tried a $10 ceramic one and couldn't taste any the difference so I returned that one to the store. In fact I su...

I voted no, but IMO they shouldn't sell other stuff that harms impressionable young minds, such as Barbie dolls.

Maybe kids are not influenced by 'cool stuff' they are exposed to.
But, what the hell do I know. :nono:

Just in time for XYZmas, Breaking Bad Action Figures

Should Toys R Us be selling drug dealer action figures that come with bags of meth and cash?

I've never seen it but I think Breaking Bad is a movie or TV show.

I might do the free spins on my casino game when I remember but otherwise no interest. DH is a die hard gamer. So I catch his gaming fumes. My SO is addicted to a casino game thing. Cool earrings.
Sorry you had to deal with this jerk.

Yes it sucks the Internet has put some people out of business.
It doesn't suck that it has created jobs too.
Electricity put a lot of people out of work too.

But the march of progress has been happening since humans started.

unless the samples are organic I don't sample. If you only eat organic food do you take supplements to get your FDA-Recommended Daily Allowance of chemicals? The only e-game I have ever played is is solitaire on my HP iPaq.
I play maybe 10 hands every night, in bed, right before going to sleep.

That's all ... so I voted 9.

How much of a gamer are you?

How often do you play ANY kind of video game or a game on any electronic device, on the Internet counts, at a video arcade counts ... even chess and solitaire count.

For this poll playing things like Monopoly on a board, chess on a board or cards with real physical cards does not count.

I see a lot of different sides to this. Sex and the body's waste are natural. In fact life itself depends on both. Yet both are widely reviled as shameful and disgusting, unless relegated to happening behind closed doors. Keep that part of the body clothed, and flush that stuff away ASAP. None of us...

Re: Is HCA relevant for colored diamonds?

HCA will work for any round diamond D - Z or Fancy Colored. The HCA should only be applied to colorless modern round brilliants where the goal is to optimize brightness as well as provide balanced contrast and fire. It does not apply where the goal is to intensify color in a round FCD. It does not ...

AGS is more discerning on cut than GIA but ... STILL! ... I'd find another round that scores under 2.0. Then get an Idealscope pic and compared it to this chart, because there can be things wrong with HCA<2.0s that the HCA does not reveal. http://www.ideal-scope.com/1.using_reference_chart.asp ideal...
