DK

P.S. I use instant lighting briquettes in a bag for ease of use. :))

I didn't know.
Thanks for the info.

EVOO 4 BBQ

Instead of using toxic stinky lighter fluid ...

Cut strips from an old cotton T-shirt or a bed sheet.
Of course any cooking oil would work, but EVOO is so very very stylish! :naughty:

Fascinating article about classical guitar making

I love reading about the pinnacle of craftsmanship of anything, but especially musical instruments. I really enjoyed this 35-page article. In it Orfeo, the classical guitar magazine, interviews three of the world's top guitar makers, aka luthiers. One is Katherin Hauser. She is the fifth generation ...

Re: Opposition to same sex marriage ruling

Yeah, I think knowing gay people makes all the difference. (gay TV characters too) But there's a chicken and egg thing. Gay people are not accepted, in part, because people don't know we are everywhere. Gays stay invisible because they are not accepted. Last week's marriage ruling is a pretty powerf...

I like most foods, except mayonnaise and salad dressing . Uck! I don't know why, but it just looks so horrible to me. It tastes like whipped vegetable oil, which, I guess it is. There may actually be two decisions
1. Going
2. Making your family happy

Still, those two decisions are solely yours.

Re: Opposition to same sex marriage ruling

From the people I know who oppose gay marriage, here is what I have gathered...1) they are upset because the definition of "marriage" has been sullied in their mind. It is between one man and one woman. Not two women, not two men. 2) They worry that the country is in moral decay and that ...

Re: Opposition to same sex marriage ruling

I personally do not have any moral issues with polygamy, In theory I don't, but in practice I do. I'm okay with polygamy for truly consenting adults. It's none of my business and doesn't harm me. But I believe the vast majority of women in polygamous marriages (ETA, in America) are not truly consen...

Re: Opposition to same sex marriage ruling

So in effect, you are saying that no ones beliefs are valid but your own. It's not about my beliefs are valid and yours aren't. It's about doing harm. Beliefs that results in voting to deny rights to others does harm so such beliefs are wrong and must/will eventually be dropped. I'm not stupid, thi...
