Hopefully they will get the setting taken care of for you, because that beautiful stone deserves a beautiful setting to show it off in! Unfortunately I don't think I really have any options but to keep the setting they sent me. JA doesn't have any other options for a plain, 6-Prong platinum setting...

Me too about Mariah's ring. The half moons were perfect. I went to Mariahdaily.com GALLERY April 2008 (the month she got engaged) and confirmed her original engagement ring had half moons. I ordered a facets round shared prong eternity band for my wedding ring. .77 carat, 31 (2 point) diamonds, 2.1mm wide (same width as my e-ring). Should arrive within the next two weeks!
