even if it''s "2nd hand" - i don''t see how the price would be $599. it''s not like a car --- if the diamond was worn before and reset - i don''t see how it could lose it''s value. anyhow, i''d want to see a cert -- maybe the diamond is clarity or color enhanced? |

I think if you and your FI want him to be the best man no matter what, you need to ask him that - but tell him his girlfriend is not welcome. I''m sorry - but it''s his problem not yours. Why invite her and make it your problem and ruin your big day? It''s obviously causing you stress and trust... |

I know! I saw "china" in the headline and was like...what??? Anyhow, if you're not looking for fancy china and more for everyday, something we like to use (and even when family is over) is fiestaware - I really like it - have NEVER had breakage problems. They come in a lot of colors. -Ariana |

Hi Jasi, I love fancy colored diamonds and have a yellow gemesis stone for my engagement ring. Cindy, I know you're in canada but how much do you have to pay to purchase a stone from the states? (as far as duty/taxes)?? If you are not getting the stone/service/information that you want - that might be a better option... Or find another retailer nearby if possible -?? -Ariana |

I heard the Apollo is making them but they can only do like 1/4 or 1/3 ct- and they're not out on the market. Also, if you ever look at the retail prices for these diamonds, they are somewhat similar to the price of a (colorless) mined diamond. I've heard that they are not focusing on producing whit... |

I'm sorry, but 200 people polled? not a lot of people. If anyone has taken a stats course, that doesn't say much. Anything that has to do with Fred Cuellar and DCI (diamond cutters int'l) seems hoax-y. Some people upgrade their diamond, some people keep their first diamond and buy a brand new ring a... |

That is a really cute story and I love the ring. From the sideview it looks really similar to the classic Tiffany & Co. six prong solitaire - I have always loved how the stone is set so low in that ring. It's very simple and elegant. Hi, I think the price of the stone not only depends on the cut but really the color intensity...i'm sure there is a pretty big price range...i think i've seen prices like $80,000 to $500,000 so i guess it depends on color. I have a yellowish orange gemesis cultured diamond - I know they are bringing... |

Hi Nathan, I agree w/ Ricardo on going with a bezel setting. My best friend's engagement ring is a bezel-set princess stone and it looks much larger than it is. I think I like a lighter pink - I love pink sapphires. When I did my e-ring (gemesis cultured yellow diamond) I was told that pink cultured diamonds will be coming out in october/november. I'd also go w/ hearts on fire over tiffany, although I love the tiffany setting. What does the hearts on fire setting look like? I love this band - but i think the stones are larger than 8pts - they're like 20 pts. each. |

I could be wrong, but are you sure they are within the diamond? If they are in earrings or a ring and are worn often, they could just be dirty and have grease/dirt/buildup underneath the stone. Try cleaning it at home or having it professionally cleaned...i'm pretty sure it's just dirt. |

I don't think your table is too large - it's more of a medium table. I agree w/ the others - if you like the stone and the setting, why not keep it?
