Re: A good place to sell diamond jewellery?

Hi Yenny,

That's great - thanks for so many suggestions. I know eBay is also an option but I have a feeling it is not a good place for ACAs etc as the average buyer won't know that it's worth paying for.

I'll check out the places you suggested.

A good place to sell diamond jewellery?

Hi, :wavey: I'm not quite sure where to post this question, or if it's appropriate to post at all. I have a diamond ring that I would like to sell and wonder if anyone can suggest how to go about this? The ring has an ACA diamond and I am aware that Whiteflash would buy back the stone, but it is in ...

Apparently they will be getting hitched in Hawaii, although I can't find any more stories so not sure how accurate the report is.

Re: Diamond Stud Questions

Hmm, I have come across GIA triple ex .91tcw H SI2 studs on ID jewelery website before at around 1300$ set. The stones looked great. I would contact Yekutiel at ID to see what he can do with your budget, unless you are totally set on going with BGD.

Re: Worth getting or not?

Hi beadchick , you have goood taste! The ring is gorgeous. I can't comment on the price either; it all depends how much you love it and if you can afford it. If you can, and you will get lots of wear out of it, then I say go for it! I do think you can do better for a pendant stone though. I got my ....

Re: Should I upgrade my Infinity diamond? Help!

Hello Raindrop , I read your topic with great gusto as I could just imagine you going in and out if Indira's office - she is great isn't she? How great that you have a fiance who is so involved with your ring. My man wanted me to be happy, but didn't have personal preferences with regard to colour/g...

Re: Yipeee! I am waiting for these babies!

The babies have arrived! :appl: Exactly 10 days after leaving their former home. First impressions: definitely not Js, as most of us suspected. I would say L-Ms, but not sure as all my diamonds are higher colour so I have nothing to compare with for reference. They are darker than my I/J pendant, wh...

Really happy for you Mayk . Half price is good!. Re: PS disease... influenced this purchase...1.5ct OEC Studs

Oh I remember these from eBay! I thought they were stunning but they were wayyyy out of my price range at 5500$ - they weren't up for auction at the time and that was the 'buy it now' price. Oh I wonder what you got them for :naughty: They are beautiful Mayk , although I would have them reset too. I...

Re: $500 on any piece of jewelry

I am with tyty , I would probably get some nice huggies from ID jewelry. I am already considering a pair as an option for my upcoming birthday :naughty: . Re: Yipeee! I am waiting for these babies!

My OEC pendant is a sleek bezel, so I suppose it would make sense for the earrings to match. Also, I have never seen milgrain bezels IRL, but the ones here made me swoon... Maybe it will be more clear once I see the stones. They are stuck in customs for over 4 days and there is nothing I can do abou...

Re: OEC Pendant

Very pretty Junebug, I love that style. I contemplated getting a (much) smaller version, never saw one with a stone that size. It does look very white, what colour grade is the stone? Enjoy!

Re: UK Pricescopers- sending jewellery abroad.

Hi Sapphire Lover, The way this works, I think, is that you send the ring insured for the full value. Sally would do the same. You will then have to pay VAT and customs, however if you call HM Customs, they will send you a refund form. As long as you have some proof of original value of the ring, yo...

Thank you Marcy!

I can hardly wait to start enjoying them...I keep checking tracking info and they are in the UK but stuck at customs for over 2 days now. Efficient huh?

Re: ebay find???

Wow, £28 all in is great! I honestly don't understand UK customs. Last summer I bought 300$ huggies from BGD and I got charged almost £60 customs + VAT. I am guessing your ring cost way more than 300$, and yet the customs you got charged is £28. Go figure. The studs are on their way to me. Hopefully...

Re: Sizing A Ring

Hi Blackberry, I believe that you wouldn't see any evidence if a ring is sized up, however if it is cut I think it is quite common to see some markings. That said, it would bother me too. I think it is sad that you feel JM didn't enjoy working with you; no customer should be made to feel that way. I...

Re: Thin or thick wedding band?

Well, I am going to be on my own and say that I prefer the thinner band, providing it has diamonds. To me, the thicker band overpowers the e-ring, plus I really like how they look all stacked up with the thinner band.
