I really love the setting, Jelly!!!!! Can''t wait to see more pics and a neck shot. Just out of curiosity, was it significantly less expensive to purchase the stock setting and have WF set all the stones than to have a similar setting custom made? |

What a stunning piece!!! Definitely a stand-alone ring -- no wedding band needed. The workmanship looks so precise -- absolutely beautiful!!!!

Gorgeous earrings, Weegem! Also, I recognize that ring in your avatar pic. I think I saw that at the Pearlman''s site a few months back. Is that your ring? I love it! |

I would not change a thing. It looks great, and 1 pointers are perfect for the halo. Any smaller would be too small IMO. I have 1 pointers in my halo and 2 pointers in my split-shank and wedding ring. Your ring with a sapphire center is going to be beautiful!!! |

Gotcha. I did not realize there was such a size difference between your 2 hands. It makes sense to have the hinged type I think. |

I believe BN''s prices are very competative. In recent months, I was shopping for a half ct AGS0 for a pendant. My budget was very tight and my specs were specific, so I knew finding the right thing was not going to be easy. I found several listed (virtual) at BN that wer... |

Have you evern tried a ring with sizing beads, OFG? It takes a day or two to get used to it, but after that, they are quite comfortable. I have a ring with the beads, and I''m quite comfortable in it. Also, as Jasper said, no cutting of the ring, and they are easily removed later i... |

Absolutey 2 is the way to go. Not only is it more versatile, but if you think you will want to raise the blind, a single very wide wood blind is very heavy and can be difficult to raise. Also, they can be made with 2 blinds under 1 headrail. It may be less ... |

I love the gallery detail!!!! Do I see a Quest stamp on the inside of the ring? Mine has no stamp or markings of any kind on the inside (also made by Quest). I wonder if it can be done next time I take it in for a polish. |

I wish you all the luck today, Mingagreen. I sure hope your ring turns up. I can only imagine the anxiety of losing such a precious heirloom. Thank goodness for insurance, but not even that can replace the sentiment. Keep us posted. |

I love that comparison, MrsSalvo. I have seen Lmurden''s ring in person, both before and after, and the differece between the solitaire and halo is amazing. Her center stone is approxiamtely the same diameter as yours, Karissa, so you get the idea. |

Wow, it will be spectacular. Never too my bling IMO. It will look huge on a size 5 finger, but if you normally wear larger jewelry, it will be fine. My pear is 2.07 with a halo, size 6 ring. I''m sure it''s over the top for many people, but I always wear larger rings, so... |

Ditto what MrsSalvo said. That''s odd that you were told the halo would detract from your diamond. I''ve never heard that before. Personally, I think it will only add to the intensity and fire. As far as size, I would estimate that the halo will add about 2 to 3 mm to the dia... |
