Re: Brian Gavin solitaire: setting questions!!

I would trust Brian to tell you the truth about the virtual stone you are considering. My personal opinion from a girl that likes yellow gold too is that you'll be happy with that size in a K color, BUT personal preference is just that. If it is cut ideal then really it wouldn't look too much differ...

Re: Do you still have your original e-ring?

Yes I do, but it started out in the wrong metal color (jeweler's fault) hubby proposed with the wrong ring, dropped the ring back at the jewelers to be remade in the right metal same day after the proposal  Anyways, as for my 5 yr anniversary ring solitaire - No i don't have the original, upg...

Re: J versus K color questions, please help!!

Honestly, I went up from a 1.ct J to a 1.2 ish K color.. Didn't regret it a bit :)) (size was noticeable) especially in yellow gold, you'll be fine, and I'd go with their existing melee... the color on that melee size is a bit neglible really unless you are talking way down the color scale, I had F ...

Re: J versus K color questions, please help!!

here is a K in 18k semi bezel I once had.. I thought it looked amazing in yellow gold. It definitely will not look yellow face up, but it won't look icy white either. On cloudy days or under trees it looked very white to me anyways... I'll go find another yellow gold setting that I once had as well ...

Re: Advice/Opinion: choose 1 of these 2 settings

I prefer your JA choice. Much more classic looking, although it is 1.6mm in width, you have to consider the depth/height of the shank, if its on the thicker side, then 1.6mm is still very sturdy.

Hi I had a kite set princess cut dbty at 9 points each, however, the culet was too exposed on my very sensitive wrist as I have a wrist/nerve condition. Any PS vendors carry Christopher's Design Crisscut Diamonds?

do you like stacking? you could get a narrow eternity ring in White (if that's what you want) then reset into a narrow halo or three stone keeping your current diamond(as part of a sidestone) or center. So you would have a White er-ing, Yellow gold band, and white eternity band... Sorry disregard if...
