My yellow diamond ring is insured as is a pair of my diamond hoops. I usually have a thing where if they are valued at about $1000 or more I insure them. That's kind of my comfort zone. no, you can size platinum. i believe tungsten rings cannot be sized. Titanium and Stainless Steel are difficult if not impossible to size as well. We didn't insure our wedding bands. Neither was expensive enough to put it on our insurance. My thoughts are that if I could easily pay out of pocket for them, I don't bother insuring. I realized my mistake yesterday... I somehow read FIY not FVY for the stones. So sorry for listing FIY stones.... :oops: One serious suggestion is to also look at "strong" colored FIY though. Sometimes those can be nearly vivid in color. The eye can't see the difference but the pocket book... |

I have 5 holes in each ear and only the top 3 are studs (hoops in the others) so they are much smaller. But they are .04ct .08ct and .10ct each currently. I think I'd like the .10ct to be .12ct, but they still look good for now. I think Oldminer's suggestion sounds really good IMO. |
