I only wish I could complain about the rain. It snowed here yesterday. I desperately need some summer clothes, but I''m moving in less than a month and I have to fit ALL of my stuff in five suitcases. There are some super cute shoes at DSW, but shoes are the hardest to pack so I''m going to have to ...

need opinions on getting a new setting

Currently I have the generic temporary setting that I have been wearing for the last two years and I just can''t take it any longer. I was hoping that I would get an upgrade but for now it''s just a setting. The three that I''m loving are: (I just tried uploading pictures and for the life of me can'...

7''s 1 - My stone is 1.18, but my DH got it before I found this site so it faces up smaller (6.7mm). He got it from Kay''s and I don''t want to upgrade from there as they''re overpriced and the quality sucks. That''s why there''s no upgrade for now because I have to start from scratch and put my cur...

Wow. Thanks Sevens One. I thought it was a pretty big stretch that someone would know what I was talking about, but that''s the one thanks. OK next question. I was hoping for a upgrade but I''m moving to China (my husband got transferred) for the next couple of years and my job offer for over there ...

Need Help Finding a Old Thread

A while back (I think it was this year), someone posted a modified ring from Whiteflash. If I remember right it was the Tiffany head and I thought the Fine Line body. This is all that I remember, but I know I really liked it and now I can''t find the post. Hopefully someone can help me find it.

My DH has a tungsten ring and engraving was included. We got it from titaniumera.com and they were great to work with. One thing to remember is that the ring can''t be resized. My DH has been living abroad and lost a lot of weight because he''s not crazy about the food. We had to have the ring remad...

I debated the ready set go when I got my studs, but decided not to do them.  The reason is that there is no trading up.  I ended up getting .80 ACA''s and it only cost me about $100 more.  I recommend this as I now have ACA''s and when the budget is a little better I can upgrade.

I can think of two outlets in the area. One is Birch Run which is just north of Flint. It''s pretty good. It has Pottery Barn, J-Crew (but most of the cloths are made for the store and isn''t what you would find in a mall store), Banana Republic, and a bunch of others. There is also a outlet in Howe...

Ok I’m veering off a little bit here. Both my dh and I are Caucasian so no issues there. My dh got transferred to China and has been living there for about a year (I am moving in a couple months, but have visited a few times) I think the hardest thing for him is to fit into a culture when you have n...

I got my ideal scope today, now I have questions for the experts...

My ideal scope came today, which is sooner than I expected. So I cleaned my ring, taped a piece of paper to my light, and tried to figure out where and how to hold it. I''ve read the website over and over. Since my ring is not ideally cut (hubby got it before I found PS) there really aren''t too man...

What’s the next big thing for 2006????

I was looking through past posts and in one Mara said that PSers seem to be ahead in the trends, and I think she’s right. The eternity style and the halo are popular, but what do you think the new 2006 style will be?

Another question: Although I wish my diamond was an H&A, the little guy''s not. So do I interpret the red, white, and black the same way when using the ideal scope?

Ok so the first thing I''m going to do is get myself an ideal-scope, but which one?? I''m definitely a beginner so could get the beginner one for $25, but I''m hoping to someday be an expert so I could get the expert one for $75. Do I need the light? I''ll probably still want to get it appraised. I'...

Should I get a cert or an appraisal?

Every since I got my .80 ACA studs for my birthday (thanks Denise), I have been obsessing over my e-ring stone. It’s putting up a good fight against the earrings in the sparkle department, but my DH got it before I found pricescope, so it’s from a chain store in the maul. It’s an IGI cert, but the o...

Yeah...I get studs but I need help

OK. So I''m really more of a lurker, but I''m posting because I need help. My husband said that for the big 30th birthday that I get some stud earrings. He wanted to go to the maul and pick them out, but I asked him to give me a day or two to try and get some ideal cut ones online (with the help of ...

We got our gm and bm watches from Overstock.com. We spend about $50 and got citizen and sekio. all were originally around $200. Everyone loved them. In fact I think everyone but one person was wearing them last time I saw them and the wedding was almost a year ago.

You might want to check out titanium era. We got my husband''s ring there. It is a 6mm with an 18k yellow gold inlay for half the price. Also, consider getting the inlay either satin or brush finished. My husband is rough on his ring, so the gold has gotten scratch but the tungesten didn''t which ma...

PGTips

My husband lives in China and we use vonage. It''s only $14 a month and he has a local US number so all friends and family can call him and he can call everyone. I highly recomend it. We used Yahoo messenger for a while and I like vonage much better.

I transferred schools, and although they also had a DZ chapter, I didn''t click with the girls so I didn''t get involved.

My ring was tapered, but i got it "thickened" to sit flush with my wedding band. It looks good but not great, but since it is on the underside of my finger I''m ok with it for now. I''m still learning what makes a pretty diamond picture, but I like 3. In row 2 and 3 it is almost as if my eye can''t decide what to look at. The colors are competing for my eyes attention. not sure if that makes sense.

I don''t know which post it was, but I have two sizing beads on my and they work great. I have large knuckles (I know I shouldn''t have started cracking them). I personally recommend them. They have really helped my ring from spinning.
