Re: The OTHER SMTB - Show Me The BLOOMS

I'm impressed by anyone who can grow orchids. I can usually grow just about anything except orchids. _4460.jpeg This is my veriagated lemon blooming. _4461.jpeg My Mexican lime. And even though it isn't a bloom, bees and flowers go together, so here's the front of one of my hives. _4462.jpeg

Re: Is this an Ashoka 3 stone?

Thanks for the comparison pictures. I'm still having a hard time with the differences, but admittedly I have really terrible eyesight. Is the difference mainly more X's in the center portion?

Okay, D color costs $$$! But look at these ASET images compared to the radiant. Re: Is this an Ashoka 3 stone?

What's the difference between a Tycoon and a crisscut? This looks like the Tycoons I have seen (granted, that's not many), and I don't think I could pick out the differences.

Re: Is this a good Radiant Cut Diamond ??? PLEASE HELPPPPP

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you mention your girlfriend is Asian? In some Asian cultures they do value very high color diamonds. In that regard, you may want to stick to what she wants. To tell the truth, and I always say this, you two should design this ring together. She has to wear it, so...

Re: Custom Setting - Any Input Welcome

I'm always a big fan of couples designing engagement rings together. A proposal can still be romantic even if she helps you design the ring. It's clear you want her to have a ring she loves, but what if you've missed the mark and she dislikes what you designed? Just something for you to think about....

Re: Alligator Drags Toddler Into Lagoon at Disney Resort

Apparently this kid was wading about as deep as that kid in the photo was. I'd let my kids put their feet in the water there, supposedly icky or not. Feet are washable. And the beach is used often for the movies under the stars, and fireworks viewing, and is a beautifully maintained white sand beach...

Re: Alligator Drags Toddler Into Lagoon at Disney Resort

I think you're thinking of a different beach? We were on that beach last fall during our last Disney trip, with a child that age, walking near us but not hand in hand. It's a clean sandy beach area where they show the movies under the stars. The family was there watching the movie from the beach. It...

Re: Anyone else going natural, non-toxic?

This was me about 5 years ago. All natural cleaners, vinegar, essential oils, you name it. But after a couple of years I noticed all our clothes were dingy and everything had this layer of grime on it. We moved and I bought a bunch of commercial cleaners for the clean out and the layer of grime that...

Re: Help me build/find an East-West Oval Shape Engagement Ri

I think you should just flat out ask her. I personally love E/W settings, but my husband really hates them. I think they're very polarizing, and people either love or hate them. Yes, of course. We need to bring back the internment camps like we did to the Japanese, Italian, and German Americans. I mean, they all must be in on it, right? Re: Prince Dead at 57

My husband is in a specialty where they liberally prescribe narcotics. I don't want to go in to too much detail because there aren't a lot of doctors who do what he does, so it could potentially lead to an invasion of privacy. It would be too easy to find us and the Pentagon has been explicit that w...

If, and I DO mean IF, humans were not the reason the mother rejected it then let nature take its course * * * kenny, bison won't turn their back on one of their own just because it's come into contact with a human. Re: Love animals, but don't be stupid

They don't mention in the article that the calf had already been rejected by its mother when they found it. They stupidly believed that the park rangers cared about saving the bison. They do not. If the calf is rejected, it will die a slow terrible death by starvation if the wolves didn't get to it ...
