Re: Solitaire suggestions

Throughout the years, there have been a few times when I've been stumped by a stone which I knew to be inscribed, but which I just couldn't seem to find the inscription on; in most instances, it was a matter of the black carbon dust which is initially created by the inscription process being steame...

Re: Solitaire suggestions

I wanna be clear here that I am not making an accusation. It could very well be there and IMPOSSIBLE to find. But you'd think under HIGH magnification it would be there. I am going to be much more relieved when it's back and confirmed and reinscribed.

Re: Solitaire suggestions

Yea not exactly a comforting end to this! Not at all. But I must have "JINX" stamped across my forehead. I think when the diamond stuff is worked out I might need a break. I went to Simons last night just to try to see that setting--they don't have it or anything remotely similar to look a...

Re: Solitaire suggestions

I just spoke with Marie at GOG, I am sending it in to get reinscribed and Ill have them confirm it all matches up. The cut is pretty hard to copy and so is this clarity. So once they confirm all is right and reinscribe it, I will then figure out from there WHAT to do. Right now, I am, like, so panic...

Re: Just in time for XYZmas, Breaking Bad Action Figures

Ok fine, while they're at it ban GI JOE, ban Lego, ban superheroes. BAN ALL TOYS. They ALL influence children negatively in some way when a parent isn't intervening.

Re: Seeking Ideas

It's all relative. I think a great size is 1-1.25 cts. It's large without being obnoxious. And on her hand will look amazing, esp in a three stone. I think many vendors can make a similar setting, or you could get THAT setting if she really loved it. The budget is important to know, and I'd focus th...

Re: What bag are you carrying

Hi, I mainly carry the Coach Legacy. It is a workhorse and mine is old. Last month I cleaned and polished up the two leather handbags I use most. They turned out great. The other bag I use is black and brown, which is in fashion now, although this is an older bag as well. Its a Liz Claiborn drawstr...

Re: Just in time for XYZmas, Breaking Bad Action Figures

I think it's stupid that they're pulling them. Adults like toys and collect this stuff, too. Be the parent: if you dont want your child to have it, don't buy it for them, and don't greenlight the purchase. It's really that simple. Don't send your kid in to a toy store armed with the funds alone if y...

Linea Pelle Dylan Medium Tote on Scotch. I kinda want that new one in INK....

Ive carried it for years, and have a backup that's identical. The leather is unmatched.

Ame, I SO feel for you, I used to think these kind of things only happened to me, multiple things going wrong, total disaster, you wear your rings out only once in a month and then you have an accident, I just hope you are fine now but this is a major headache. I wanted to read your entire thread b...

Re: Reset with Victor Canera? What would you do?

I think you should meet with him and see what he has to say. IMO, I wonder if you might get bored with a solitaire pretty quickly (an all metal solitaire) coming from what you have. I think you either need to go halo, or the solitaire with the beautiful web like basket and pave on the shank. Of cou...

Re: Ring questions! Any insight is appreciated.

Are you willing to pay via wire? If you buy via one of our vendors you'll be able to see great images of the actual stone you're buying. just a few (confirm eyecleanliness) rounds. Re: Etsy Twist band help! Which vendor to use?

I must have expensive taste because that first one is my favorite. Between the brushed appearance and the looser twist it is really appealing.

Re: How much of a gamer are you?

I might do the free spins on my casino game when I remember but otherwise no interest. DH is a die hard gamer. So I catch his gaming fumes. My SO is addicted to a casino game thing. He says no money is involved so no harm done. I can't understand the thrill if there is no payout ... but I don't get...

Re: what color is a your front door?

White. I'd like to paint it something fun. Our house is darkish red brick though so I feel like white is the best option. I do wish the previous owners had NOT painted it though, because it was gorgeous dark stain at one point.

Re: I just wanna say -- the random comments thread

I just wanna say that I am sick to death of being asked when I am due. So I had my annual appointment at the Gyno last night right, walking down the hall to my little exam room, and my doctor who I love hollers down the hall "Hi Ame! We can really see that baby now!". um. You know I no haz...

Re: Solitaire suggestions

I was hoping I'd have MY ring back by now but it's still not here. Re: Is the basket crooked or is the ring not exactly round?

I don't think of this as too picky. I think of this as "it wasn't made correctly, nor was it made to your specifications." It seems like they're not capable of doing it well.

Re: Which e-ring insurance company did you go with?

I believe Chubb still offers coverage, though you must purchase through an agent (this is one: http://www.jewelers-unblocked.com/consumer/index.html) so not quite as easy to buy as it is from Lavalier or Jewelers Mutual. They do, it's just not standalone jewelry only. Unless something changed again...
