Re: How much do you spend at Costco?

I get gas at least once a week, so I guess on average $120-$150/mo on gas. Otherwise Maybe $100/mo if that? They have Cottenelle Ultra Jumbo Roll 36 packs on sale this month here and we hoard that shit, so I bought 4 of those, and may go back for more. They only have it maybe once a year and I don't...

'Low profile' earrings - BGD 8-prongs?

Thanks very much for the replies, all, it's much appreciated :)) Those low-set baskets look oookaaayyyy... lol They're just not particularly 'striking' IMHO! I don't know - I like architectural styles where you can 'read' the construction, but for some reason I think I like jewellery to 'flow' or s...

Re: 'Low profile' earrings - BGD 8-prongs?

Another idea, for very "low profile" and very dainty studs are their bezel studs. VERY low profile, very dainty, and very not-sticky-outty. I would not use the "get lost in them" descriptor. Here's my thread of mine, mind you smaller than you're looking at because I REALLY wanted...

Re: When people say your ring is unique or cute..

does that mean "your ring is ugly" in a different way? .. OOhhh, how cute = ooohh, how ugly! That is unique = that is a ugly! Since I have a specialty cut (as you are about to have as well), most are intrigued. Before my old set was stolen, I did get "cute" a lot and ...

Re: Someone used my e-mail address to book a room in a hotel

Gmail doesn't always recognize punctuation in email addresses. So if you use firstname@gmail.com and they use first.name@gmail.com you could end up getting each other's mail all the time. DH and I experience that CONSTANTLY, and often with very sensitive emails. We're very good to delete those immed...

Re: Who pays for the wedding...What's the American rule?

Traditionally it's the bride's family 100%. Modern times it's anything goes, and often equal shares between the couple and each set of parents. DH and I wanted to pay for it all ourselves. Mostly because we wanted total control over everything. My parents were hurt by that, and so we caved, though e...

Re: Setting is done & images are IN -- feeling lukewarm.

I actually like it, though I am anti-donut, so that is the only negative I have with it. But you have to love it, and nothing WE say will convince you. See it in person and see what you think then before you make a decision.

Re: Paleo?

This "whateverIamdoing" is working so far, because i was down 5 as of this morning. I am far less of a raging bitch now though, at least in regards to sugary stuff. I found some great treats that "qualify", some from Hail Merry (the miracle tarts OMG) and then some stuff from Urb...

Re: Paleo?

From what I understand you can use almond milk and coconut milk in place of dairy for ice creams but they freeze harder. This diet/"lifestyle" pushes seafood as do most, but I will rarely do tuna salad, only after picking out anything that looks "red" or "gross", and t...

Re: Paleo?

Since this is a combination of medical requirement and personal choice of trying to cut as much sugar addiction as I can (I really live for carbs!) I can adapt as need be. I don't do much dairy straight up anyway, because of intolerance, but the occasional ice cream/frozen custard was something I re...

I just started working into this about two weeks ago and last week was my first 90% week. This week I am trying to get more like 95%. I don't know if Ill ever be 100% but I am trying. I wear a 2mm plain band in the same metal to keep mine separate. That way I can still wear it as a plain band.

Re: James Allen Handmade Tiffany setting arrived. Am I too p

Sorry, I am a dissenter on the "it looks great" comments. If the culet is not viewable from the side, it's not high enough. So for me, based on those photos it's definitely too low, in my opinion and I'll just say it: if that was for me, it would have been returned within minutes of openin...

Re: Couple uses guns to protect daughter

From what I'm reading, sounds like one of those kill or be killed neighborhoods. I mean, if you live in a war zone, by all means arm yourself, I guess. Since I LIVE HERE, I feel I can give a little more perspective on this...And I do mean I LIVE here, that specific incident occurred about 5 miles f...

Re: how to take care of diamond studs?

1) No
2) No
3) No.

I don't wear them to do "activities", so no sports, no exercise, no cleaning, etc. I clean them each time I wear them and then again when removing them.

Re: Help!!! Tiffany E-ring

I would prefer the solitaire personally. It's more classic AND more versatile. You can put more band options with it. Do you have the information on each of these stones to see which is the best cut? Just because it's Tiffany doesn't automatically make it well cut. A well cut H or I will look amazin...
