Re: Fertility friend Charts and Questions

I was going to post it again once AF showed. Basically it's a hot mess. My temps climbed for 4 days, I had the solid red lines and all, and then, boom crash down they went. They've been climbing back up but slowly so my lines are gone. I still think I ovulated because of the +OPK but who knows? So ...

Re: Getting ring off finger

The few times my fingers swelled up, I used cold water and liquid dishwashing soap to get my ring off. "Personal lubricant" might also work, that stuff is really slippery. Haha, that cracked me up. Lots of great suggestions here. I think I'm past the "slippery stuff" stage...

Re: Getting ring off finger

Ick, you may have to have it cut off. My mother had that done to her wedding ring. If lotion or windex didn't work, I don't suppose soap would either? We used windex at Tiffany's. How about putting ice on it for long enough to make it a tad smaller? Good luck!! That's my fear. Ugh, why didn't I tak...

Re: Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Thanks SMC! It's getting exciting that my baby will be here in 11 days or less! I feel like I have a win-win situation with the VBAC or RCS. Update: My fluid level was an 8.6! Still borderline low, but not low enough to admit me! I go back Thursday, then Monday, then Thursday again and play the sam...

Re: Getting ring off finger

One of the comments to your article suggested cold water and conditioner. I'd try that and Windex before this method - seems like it would work, but also seems like it's more time consuming and perhaps more painful (the elastic was wrapped tight!). I tried the cold water thing. I've also tried wind...

Getting ring off finger

Has anyone tried this method? http://lifehacker.com/remove-a-stuck-ring-from-your-finger-with-an-elastic-ba-1515026883 Or does anyone have another method that works? My E-Ring should have been removed about two months ago. I need to get it off of my finger before pregnancy makes my fingers any bigger.

Re: Anyone planning on seeing Gone Girl?

Yes! I started a book club back in January and this was our first book. Most of the people in the club are people I work with. We are all taking off at noon to go watch it on Friday :)

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Ladies, need some advice here. :wavey: I've just started using an OPK kit and according to my ovulation cycle phone app I should be fertile this week (YAY!) but i work looong hours so I'm up at 5am and home after 7:30pm so I tested when I got up this morning (BTW both lines same colour = go for it ...

Re: Fertility friend Charts and Questions

Awww man. I do think it was a lot of issues with the thermometer I was using and the temps. A lot of the amazon reviews said the thermometer was unreliable so I have ordered another one. Do you still think based on the other observations (OPK, CM & position) that my ovulation has come and gone?...

Re: Fertility friend Charts and Questions

So many days later I think I finally have something I can trust! I deleted that one high wacky temp and tada! I have it set on FAM so I think it's pretty trustworthy. I still plan on using the new thermometer and vaginal tempting next month to help rule out my own human error. I did realize a few d...

Re: Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Had another checkup today (I'm 21.5w). I had to wait an hour for my doctor! This was a little unusual because I normally don't need to wait more than 30 min (if at all). Oh well - they were apologetic and gave me a Starbucks card to compensate. Heard the heartbeat, heard movement, doctor says I'm r...

Re: Fertility friend Charts and Questions

Thank you ladies for being patient and helpful with me. Apparently the OPKs I thought were positive the other day were not. I thought they were positive Sat and Sun. Monday they died down a bit. I took one just before and it is darker than any of the others. I guess the LH can fluctuate a bit befor...

Re: PS Mommy thread with toddlers 12-36 months

I have no real update, just wanted to share that B said the F word several times on the way to day care this morning. I don't know if he meant to say that or something else. I did get it on video, though, so that's a silver lining.

Re: Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

I just had my 20 week appointment. Baby's hb sounded good. It was a 5 minute appointment so not a whole lot to share. My uterus is measuring 2 weeks ahead, so I guess the rest of what makes me look giant is just my muscles stretching? I've gained 8lbs which I'm happy about- I think with B I was alr...

Re: poll: were you mad about U2?

Yes. I don't think they should put anything on my device unless I okay it. DH was mad because it was on his iCloud and he pays a certain amount each month for increased storage space. So he was basically paying for space that Apple decided to use without permission. It did end up being removable- Ap...

Re: What was your first Apple product?

I believe the first Apple product I ever used was my dad's old Macintosh (well, I think it was a Macintosh). This was circa~1989. It was NOT one that supported a color monitor. Just the old black and green. We also had a black and orange second, smaller monitor, that he had hooked up to it. He had ...

We had an Apple 2C. Must have been around 1986 when I was 6. I was just reading up on it- you could expand the memory to a whopping 1.125MB!
