Re: Jenny Craig?

Hi, I did JC. I did very well on it. I followed the program, ate the food until I just was too tired of the food to keep eating it. By that point, I had started to eat regular food and was doing very well. I liked the weekly check in with a representative. It helped me to stay on track. I would do i...

Re: Fall Healthy Living Thread

Hi Ladies, Well, I haven't posted on this thread in a LONG time! Thought I'd come back and try to get back on track! About the time I last posted, I was losing weight, doing pretty well. I've gained some of that weight back and lately, having a hard time staying motivated, staying on track. So here ...

Re: Anyone interested in a Weight Watcher''s thread?

Hi ladies, I've been off of PS for a long time, reading posts here and there. One thing I loved about PS was the support system so I thought I'd get back in here. I've been thinking about joining WW. I used JC awhile back, lost quite a bit and over the last few years, have gained some of it back. It...

DandiAndi, your cupcakes look very tasty! The cherry is so pretty on top with the chocolate! Do you put fresh strawberries in your frosting? I have a hard time w/Strawberry frosting b/c it never holds well. In fact, any frosting with fruit does not hold for me. Anyone have any tips? Sunkist, those c...

So, I''ve never done much cooking or baking until recently. Given that, I don''t know too much about what the ingredients do, and I want to learn. Can you ladies help me and tell me what the ingredient does? Or if you were going to add/delete some, what the effect (or is it affect?) would be? I know...

Mara, thanks for the tips on the choc. marshmallow cupcakes. I tried to melt some marshmallows w/butter (based on how to melt them to use for rice krispie treats.. yes, big mistake!) the other day and what a mess! I will definitely try your method next time. Yes, mine is vaccinated. I''ll be honest, never fully researched whether to do so or not, just followed the recommended guidelines. As I''ve gotten older, from all that I hear, the benefits outweigh the risks.. but again, I say this w/o much personal research.
