I like them both but prefer #2... It''s more simple and will probably be easier to have a wedding band next to it... The first one will be covered up and maybe scratch or damaged with a wedding band rubbing on it. |

I don''t think it is going behind their back to purchase a diamond online. It''s not as though we are talking a few dollars... you can save hundreds and in some cases thousands of dollars. That much is enough to get what you really want from your budget. I purchased two loose diamonds to set into ea... |

I like Bluenile and purchased my E-ring online. They have always been good on customer service. Here is a diamond I found that is much better quality... Ideal cut and has an HCA of 1.6 (anything less than 2 is ideal). www.bluenile.com Just make sure you get it appraised when you get it and if you do... |

The option 2 diamond is a better diamond in my opinion. If you put the numbers into the holloway cut advisor (found under TOOLS), it has a grade of 1.2 which is ideal. The option 1 diamond doesn''t do so well...with the numbers on your post, they won''t even register. Basically I would want to know ... |

What don''t you feel secure about? Is it that other people have been saying it''s small or looking down on it? I probably wouldn''t upgrade for that price. I am practical too and I would probably feel a little guilty upgrading when you aren''t getting much more size. I''m sure you loved it a one tim... |

The BN Nouveau and Tiff Novo settings look pretty much the same to me. I think the difference is in the quality of the rendered pictures. They will probably look very much the same. Also, it''s probably pretty easy to have it custom made. I also don''t think 0.2 mm will make a difference...it''s a m... |

My husband and I purchased the diamond for my E-ring separate from the setting. We purchased the diamond online (1 ct marquise, D, SI1) because it was the least expensive of all the places we went. The B&M stores were charging us twice to three times what it cost to do it all separately. We then got... |

I just bought two "I" colored diamonds, which I never thought I would do but after reading on PS that they probably look white face up and mounted, I went ahead. I have a 1.03 ct D, SI1, ideal cut marquise that I believe is beautiful. Most people love the diamond shape because it isn''t as common as a round. In my experience, a 1ct is a rare thing to have in an engagement ring and you should wear it with pride. Most people who talk nastily about someone else... |
