Re: Fragrance of the Day Thread

I have been wearing Van Cleef First forever now. LOVE LOVE it!! Unfortunately, I can't get it here in Singapore anymore. ;( I think you can still buy it elsewhere but for some reason not here.

I also LOVE Dior Eau Delice, which, unfortunately, has been discontinued by Dior. ;( ;(

I wanted to revise this fun thread and see how everyone's wishlist has fulfilled/ evolved.... There are really only 3 items that I'd like, that are REALISTIC for the next couple of years: 1. Thank you, MayK, for posting Holly - very sweet of you. :)) . All the other ones posted are absolutely gorgeous!! There are quite a few that to me are very iconic. First of, DiamondFan's 9.22ct Tiffany EC. She has quite few stunning pieces, but this is the one I obsessed and still obsess about, fell...

Re: Experience with Sleeping Pills?

Another one with insomnia here, due to my Hashimoto's. I will be watching this thread very closely. I've tried Ambien before, on and off. I don't really find it addictive, habit-forming in that I'd be dependent on it and couldn't sleep without it. I find that you can come off Ambien (just go cold tu...

Re: Eyelashes!

I too have been using Latisse with very good results. But i'm def open to trying a new product because 1) Latisse is soooo expensive and 2) I think its max benefits have now been reached. I think also with Latisse, your lashes become longer but not necessarily fuller, which as you alluded to, is a p...

Re: Update - what I've been up to

And whilst I was at the bank yesterday, I took the opportunity to take a pic of Holly - a 5.318ct H VS2 - snuggling up with her little sisters (2.656ct H SI2 BGD in VC Emilya setting and the 3.02ct F VS2 solitaire). Still struggling to decide how to set Holly. DH likes the current setting, a LM soli...

Re: Update - what I've been up to

I also took another snap of the multi-coloured diamonds. Whilst the colours still don't show up well enough compared to how they look IRL, this pic does show the colours a bit better. (I never knew it was so difficult to capture true colours of fancy diamonds). Planning to start a thread soon for ho...

Re: Update - what I've been up to

I'd like to share my most recent acquisitions - a 2.89ct tsav (absolutely gorgeous, even if I do say so myself - have been searching for such a tsav for several years now) and hot pink spinels totalling 1.35ctw. Thinking of asking David Klass to set my tsav, probably in a split shank double halo set...

Re: Big eternity or 5 stone owners, do you still love your r

I was thinking, it'd be nice to have more than one option in the poll, lol. I love my bigger eternity, about 23-25pt each. Re: Another drinking thread....advice requested

I guess it depends on why you are stopping drinking. If it is because you feel psychologically it is addictive to you and that you might lapse into drinking more and more, then you know yourself best. However I don't think there are any negative health effects to having occasional drinks (and there...

Re: Another drinking thread....advice requested

Hi Phoenix, I don't drink (very rarely and maybe once or twice a year if even that). I used to drink socially but then developed some health issues and drinking would exacerbate the condition so I just stopped. It is not a draw for me one way or another so it was fairly simple for me to just stop. ...

Re: Another drinking thread....advice requested

I'm not a big drinker but I go with the flow! I never drink at home and only on occasion when I'm out depending on my mood - I probably drink once or twice a month. Sometimes I'll only have one or two drinks, other times a lot more, just depends on how I feel. I've never been a big drinker and have...

Re: Another drinking thread....advice requested

I live on my own, and seldom drink at home unless I am having a meal, then it will be a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. I do not buy standard bottles of wine, only the single serving ones about 187ml each (a very large glass). When I go out, I like to drink, so I usually plan to stay overnight s...

Re: Another drinking thread....advice requested

You've hit the nail right on the head, Maccers. It really is a lifestyle choice vs a "diet". W.r.t food, I know I'd fail miserably if I ever went on any kind of diet; so I choose healthy eating and exercise and I never crave anything, well except fruits and vegetables. It'd be fantastic if...

Oh no, not at all, R.O.L. It's totally cool :))
It makes sense to explore all possibilities.
I really don't have a sweet tooth at all - a bit strange as most people love desserts . I wish I had the same discipline when it comes to alcohol.
Again, thank you. I really appreciate it.
