Re: Lots of Finger Coverage
Thanks for the compliments everyone! :) Enerchi, my sister has been wearing our great-grandmother's ring for about a year now and it seems to be holding up just fine. If it doesn't seem to be able to withstand it she will stop but we are of the mindset that we might as well wear it and enjoy it rath... |

Lots of Finger Coverage
My sister and I were bored so I tried on my sisters everyday rings with my everyday rings and took pictures for fun. Below was the result! From the bottom of my finger to the top: (1) my diamond wedding band I don't know the stats (2) My e-ring a Tacori 2620 setting with an SI2, H 1.02 GIA diamond, ... |

My 1.02 tcw IDJ Diamond Studs
I posted last Friday in the RockyTalky forum asking for help finding matching diamond studs on a budget. My biggest concern was being able to find bright stones that were very "shiny". Sarahbear621 recommended IDJ. I went with IDJ and I am very happy. I ended up with two GIA Triple Excelle... |

Re: Help me find matching diamonds for studs.
I ordered a pair of studs from IDJ on Friday. They should be here tomorrow afternoon. I am excited! They are both .51 ct, and I1, and GIA triple xxx, however one is E and one is F. I hope this isn't a huge difference. I was a little nervous about getting I1 diamonds but I feel like for earrings it s... |

Lost GIA cert.!!
I renewed my insurance on my ering last week and realized I cannot find the GIA cert. on my ering. (we recently moved and I can't find a lot of things now). The insurance company has the GIA report number on my declaration page. Is the report number enough to get the cert. reissued? Thanks! |

Re: Help me find matching diamonds for studs.
Okay thanks! So as long as all of these places are equally reputable I would want to go with whoever can get me the most bang for my buck. Thanks for the input! I appreciate it! |

Help me find matching diamonds for studs.
I REALLY want diamond studs. I want them to be at least .5 each. I don't care that much about clarity (I'm fine with SI1 or SI2) as long as the color and cut are good and mask any imperfections. I am more interesting in how much they sparkle and getting decent lobe coverage. However, I really have n... |

Re: What is a good town to commute to Washington, DC from?
I have to admit this thread is making me cringe. Pretty much sounds terrible to try and find a place to live that is not going to slowly make us insane with the traffic . . . EEK! We both have long commute snow (45 minutes and 1.5 hours) so a somewhat long commute isn't too horrible. Keeping it under an hour or so would be nice I have no idea where he would be. AND no we don't have any air transportation! I wish |

What is a good town to commute to Washington, DC from?
My husband is contemplating taking a job which would require him to work in the DC/Baltimore area. I really really DO NOT want to live in the city or really close to the city. its all about balance....... Exactly. But I'd go one step further. It's about finding your own personal balance . What works for one person isn't right for another. I don't work at a huge scary firm or anything. My boss tells me my billables are fine and to just keep doing what I am doing. I can't even imagine how people deal with the highly unreasonable "golden hand-cuff" type places. My guess is they burn out quickly and go somewhere smaller. |
