Re: Baby won't eat food
Dreamer, have you tried giving Ryder those fruit pouches? My nephew had a bit of trouble eating solids from a spoon, but he'd eat straight out of the pouch no problem. In fact, when my nephew was done with the fruit, BIL would cut the bottom out and refill it with veggies. It's an idea, maybe he's j... |

Re: When did your baby start sleeping through the night?
We let our son CIO at 10 months. It took about 5 nights; the first he cried for 30 minutes, and it got less thereafter... Now (at 15m), he goes down like a champ. In fact, just within the past week, he'll go to the bottom of the steps when he's ready (for bed OR a nap), and he'll point upstairs and ... |

Re: Do you have a bachelor's degree?
AN - the extern that my hospital wouldn't hire just got a job at Brandywine Hospital. Sure, it's not a major city hospital, but he got hired straight into the ICU (which is difficult to get here in the city without experience). So, if you're willing to look into smaller community hospitals, there ar... |

Re: Do you have a bachelor's degree?
Karl, I do believe it's a regional thing. Where are you located? I know Florida has a huge shortage of nurses (tons of retirees there). The big hospitals in the metro Philly area require a BSN. My hospital is now on a hiring freeze for nurses, unless approved by admin. It's a shame, we had an excell... |

Re: Do you have a bachelor's degree?
I am a lowly ASN (nursing), but I earn the same amount of $$ as my BSN/MSN co-workers, and I had waaaay less owed in student loans (7K vs. up to 80K!). If there were incentive for me to get my BSN I would, but right now we're having kids and working on the house, and I really have no desire to go b... |

For the cream cheese and jelly lovers - you HAVE to try poppers (the cream cheese kind) with grape jelly. YUM!!! I dip my pickles in ketchup, too!
