Re: Jewelry purchase that you love and have no desire to upg

My Tiffany and Co Notes pendant and my plain 3mm band. And that's about it! I've regretted just about everything else and sold or returned it. I don't think bling is for me.

Re: The Official TTC for 6 Months or More Thread

Aww. :(( Just hang in there, MP. I've seen betas do some weird things, so I wouldn't count yourself out yet. The limbo period is the worst though.

Re: My engagement ring upsets me. Please Help

We'll, I'm going to offer a different perspective: Not everyone gets a say in their engagement ring, and I've come to realize over the years that it's just not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Your heirloom ring is really beautiful. It's not like it's some hideous, ugly piece. The diamond l...

Re: The Official TTC for 6 Months or More Thread

I've been reading along and totally thinking you were pregnant, MP, and those are definitely BFPs!! Your progesterone being 200 was such a good sign. Guess IVF was the magic thing for you. Congrats!!! :D Try not to worry about betas; mine were always kind of average, even with the twins. LC, I'm ver...

My kids were born 22.5 months apart, and I never got a double. We've managed fine with just the one. I'm all about simplifying things and saving money.

Your all around favorite store to shop?

What store is your favorite place to shop at? Mine is hands down Target. I can always find something cool, or some great bargain. Even when I plan to just run in and get two things, somehow I find myself checking out with 12. What store is your shopping paradise?

Re: Do men hit on you?

No, 'cause I'm heavily pregnant with twins and everywhere I go, I am usually with my two kids and/or my husband. Not exactly conducive to getting hit on!

When I was younger and single, yes.

Re: Cat People - I really need some avice!

I've had 3 cats in my life (2 living now, 1 passed) - I've never had any of them pee anywhere they were not supposed to. I didn't realize it was so common for cats to spray / pee outside the litter box. I think it's more of an issue with male cats. I have two female cats, and they both use the litt...

Re: AGS0 stone with a not so great Ideal-scope

Wink, I agree with you wholly that seeing the stones in person is a huge factor and numbers/images can't tell the stone's entire story but unfortunately it wasn't an option for me to purchase stones and return them if I did not like them. And ever since I discovered PS a couple years ago, I learned...

Re: AGS0 stone with a not so great Ideal-scope

Wow, not a fan of those numbers at all. A 41.1 pav angle with that steep of a crown and a large-ish table? Nope.

That is why I do not buy a diamond just because it's supposedly an AGS0 for light performance. I buy based on the angles/numbers, and it doesn't matter to me whether it's AGS or GIA.

Exciting!! If you're going to stack, maybe a 3.75? 4 would probably be too loose though, I agree.

Re: Do you prefer GIA or AGS ?...

GIA. They are more widely recognized, so if I had to sell to a non-PS person, they would be much more likely to know the name over AGS. Also, I think GIA is more strict on color grading.

Oh man. Panera Bread and their broccoli cheddar soup with a half sandwich is my jam . Subway sometimes. I like their fluffy bread but that is about it. Re: Do you eat fast food? How often and what?

Yes. Often. All of it. We are fast food whores. Ditto. I usually stick to simple stuff like a single cheeseburger and a salad. The kids love Wendy's chicken nuggets. DH and I do eat a lot of junk, but surprisingly we are pretty healthy. No high cholesterol or blood pressure or anything like that.

Great that N had a nice birthday party, pupp!

Considering some people don't even bother to mail in the RSVP card for something as formal and important as a wedding, nothing surprises me when it comes to this sort of thing.

Re: Smart people buy generics over brand names

I buy Target's brand (Up & Up) for a lot of stuff, like toilet paper, tissues, band aids, paper towels, baby wipes, diapers, medicines, cleaning supplies, packing tape, etc. and it's all been excellent. Really good products IMO. Plus I love saving money!!

Re: Calling all Tiffany Soleste and double Halo owners :)

I had a double halo (from Blue Nile, the "Duet") and LOVED it! It was my favorite ring of all the ones I've owned over the years. 0.77 ct on a size 7.5 finger. The pave appeared sturdy and done well.

Re: In the home stretch... 36 weeks preg!

Congrats, you're almost there! Ring size depends...pregnancy 1, my fingers shrunk back down to normal. Two weeks after giving birth, I could wear my e-ring. With pregnancy 2, my fingers permanently increased in size and never got smaller, as did my shoe size. Now with pregnancy 3, at 26 weeks, I can...

Re: Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

BrightSpot, my boobs never grew during any of my pregnancies ( ;( ), but I had a TON of milk! Like major oversupply. I nursed both of my kids for 18-19 months. So I don't think breast growth necessarily has anything to do with it. Hopefully that will reassure you a bit. :)

I agree.

Also, more energy to play with them, you generally bounce back from pregnancy quicker, lower odds for the baby to have Down syndrome or other chromosomal abnormalities, etc.

Heck no, I love having kids and being a mom! Having four of them so close in age is going to be a little rough, but I don't regret it at all. I am an only child so I always knew I wanted a big family. The only think I regret is not having them all in my 20s, but that was out of my control. If you wa...

Re: at what size would you switch to a CS

Never. I would rather 1) get a cluster ring, or 2) get a small diamond in a double halo, or 3) just wear a thin platinum band and save up money for a few years down the road. As much as I love colored stones on others, I just wouldn't want one for my e-ring (with the exception of maybe a yellow sapp...

Re: baby name re:SS list and popularity

Nope, I don't care about popularity. If I like it, I like it.

My son and daughter both have pretty popular names (in the top 100). When the twins come, we've already picked out names for them that are in the top 100 too.
