Re: Examples of double row micro-pave halo?
I was wondering if that would look odd as well, but then I found a few examples and I think it might look better than I originally thought. Here is one from SK's site that I think looks nice: http://www.stevenkirsch.com/engagement/halo/r0115.html For some reason I feel like the second row on the sid... |

Examples of double row micro-pave halo?
Hi! I am interested in having an HW style halo created with double row pave - NOT a double halo, but just a second row of pave to enhance the side view of the ring. I have seen many examples of this with bright cut pave, but I'm not interested in that particular style. Can you please show me some ex... |

Re: VC Eternity Pave Band - Neo French or U Cut? Any views?
Bumping this, because I am wondering the exact same thing! I would prefer a less "scallopy" looking edge on my halo (don't want it to look like a flower). Is one type of pave better for this than the other? |

Re: Thoughts on this RB?
Thanks for the feedback! I read that the HCA often dings 60/60 diamonds unfairly, so I was taking that into consideration as well. My current stone also has a larger table, so I don't think the look would bother me. |

Re: Nervous About Purchase
You are paying quite a bit for that VVS2 grading, when you likely wouldn't notice the difference between that and an eye clean VS2 or SI1 stone. You will get more bang for your buck if you go down in clarity, and you can also get a larger stone if you are willing to consider something more in the mi... |

I don't think the size difference would be that obvious. If it were me, I would go with the I color with fluorescence! |

I would love to see more photos of your new ring so we can see it at all angles. I voted for "re-do" not because the ring isn't pretty, but because I know that if it were me, I would have a nagging voice at the back of my head asking if I would have liked it better if it were closer to the... |

Re: matching band for this e ring?
I think a channel set band would look nice. I originally had a prong set eternity band with my three stone, and I think it was too distracting. I also think that a regular band will sit fairly flush with that setting, so I wouldn't worry about getting a curved one. |

Re: Surprising GIA grade - any insight?
Thank you for the link. I guess I was surprised since the table percentage seemed much larger than the range I've heard you should stick within, and it seems like the top of this diamond would probably be pretty flat. |

Re: visible size difference between 1 and 1.1ct?
Carat weight doesn't necessarily determine how large a stone looks since all of the weight could be in the bottom of the stone. If size is your goal, you need to compare the mm measurements of each stone to see which one actually faces up larger. That said, a .1 difference is likely not going to be ... |
