The piling on and such. Since I have been a member for almost 10 years ( Nov 18th) I really miss the...

Re: Is it okay to recline your airline seat?

I am of the camp of asking, or looking is it okay to recline my seat... Someone behind me may be working...

Flying first class, unless you are in row one, you're ok. BUT who can afford that these days.....

AGBF nice post. :wavey: To me, I didn't read profanity in posts... Saying Damn is profanity?? When someone is shot down and killed it's ok to say something other than heck what were they thinking.. Re: I live in a warzone. Oh wait, no, I'm in St. Louis.

Living in Philly, we get this more than I can say... And the woman that raised me was black. Her brother spent his whole life in jail while public defenders didn't do their job. He got pardoned.. 18 and locked away... It's a very well known case.. I pray for justice for the family and hope they can ...

Re: I live in a warzone. Oh wait, no, I'm in St. Louis.

It should be discussed. It's a huge problem and one I see growing. Makes me sad. Of course I don't have an answer. But can't ignore it either. I didn't have to tell my son about the rules that many parents are now telling their young sons... Has my son been harrassed or profiled by cops? Nope. Hate ...

Re: Ebola arrives in America tomorrow on a fancy private jet

I too am conflicted about the cost. Wouldn't it be great to think we could get ahead of this... Sounds good in writing but history has been we fail. But can't stop trying. But one has to ask at what cost. And what risk??

Really trying to figure this one out. I am stumped..

Re: Ebola arrives in America tomorrow on a fancy private jet

Nope don't think we should be doing this. Which shocks me because I am the first one after losing a brother to AIDS and all the hysteria back in the early 90's A lot was ignorant. This one?? IDK. I do have compassion, obv But also know it will come here eventually so am a bit of a realist as well. A...

Re: How men view Asian women

Chinese women are mean!... It's true! Growing up, the scariest moms were always Chinese. I have no idea where the submissive stereotype came from because they always dominated their households! My (white) husband fears that I will traumatize our unborn son if I have my way 100% of the time. H...

JJ, Checking in. Saying goodbye, you think you didn't get that last chance. Many of us don't. So hard. But what I will say, was when my grandfather was dying. He wouldn't go unless I was gone... Jane, I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard, and I don't think there is a one size fits all recipe for coping. How are you doing today??
