My sister and I have both done them - they''re fun with a friend, I wouldn''t do it by myself - nobody to laugh at! I had my first one about 4 years ago, and actually have retained some of the inch loss since then. Story: I have this jacket with non-elastic wrists, so I could only push the sleeves u...

Oh man, the mixed messages really kill ya, don''t they? For me it was my grandmother, not my parents: She''ll serve up teensy tiny portions and make a big deal of it if you ask for seconds, but then buy everybody ice cream (double scoops!) every time we go out. Then again, she also basically told us...

Congrats on the findings! I''m positive you''ve seen my cat introduction advice before in other threads, but here it is again FG: Since Chloe is both the older cat and the scaredy cat, you''ll need to focus a ton of attention on her. Give her her favorite treats daily (or twice daily if she gets tre...

Not really. I learned most of it in college - appropriate portions, more veggies and fruits, exercise. I still struggle to counteract some bad eating habits I picked up from my mom growing up.

Wow... OK, here''s my advice - good luck!! I think you''ll need to attack this problem from multiple angles: Keep kitty from chewing on the cords and also give her something that she''s allowed to chew on. Could you double-plastic coat your cords? Maybe wrapping tin foil around the plastic covers wo...

I had this for breakfast this morning and thought I was going to die, it was so tasty! From Lickety-Split Meals, by Zonya Foco Scrumptious Swiss Oats and Fruit (or something similar. I''ll edit once I get home to the cookbook). 1 1/2 cup dry oats (quick or regular) 1 1/4 cup skim milk or soy milk 2 ...

I voted 100% happy because I love the stone, the style, etc etc etc. The reason I''m commenting is because I will one day be changing the basket. The ring shank itself is in platinum, but the main basket was done in wg. Yes, I''ll be changing the ring one day, but not because of the style or anythin...

LOL, my little 8 pound Sammy will whine and whine at the bedroom door every morning, and then dart off for her FULL bowls (yes, bowls) of dry food as I head to the bathroom. It''s like she simply can''t eat breakfast without telling me good morning and getting a few ankle circles in while she''s at ...

Depends on whether you want to have the special moment of seeing each other for the first time on your wedding day in your wedding attire alone or in front of guests. Your guests will be watching you come down the aisle, not watching your groom''s face as he watches you come down the aisle. You will...

Small world - my professor told us today that she''s pregnant. Do you use body wash or bar soap in the shower? I heard from a dermatologist that for dry skin, plain old Ivory or Dove soap is way better at keeping skin moisturized than any creamy body wash. Maybe try that too?

More thoughts. Is your yard open or is it full of trees and other foliage? in other words, can you see every area of your yard, including the tops of most trees, or are there lots of places for the cougar to hide? If open, don't worry too much about your dogs when you're home during the day. Also, a...

What''s your favorite comic strip?

Happy Friday everyone! Here''s a fun thread to start your weekends off right.

What is your favorite comic strip and why? It can be an online comic or a newspaper one.

My favorites are:
PhD Comics: Piled Higher and Deeper (online, phdcomics.com)
Luann (newspaper and available online)
