Probably not going to see in theaters. I'm traveling 2 out of 3 weekends coming up. Would be interested in revie...

Re: Looking for a kitten in the Connecticut area (Boston oka

Missy, I shared the information you posted with my friend. Thank you! CJ, I don't think that's going to work out in this particular instance. My friends are not in a financial position to fly over a pet from PR. They are considering getting one from here, in CA when they come out to visit though. Th...

Looking for a kitten in the Connecticut area (Boston okay).

Anyone have a kitten that needs a home in the Connecticut area? I may have one.

Only one home, though.

Re: Help me find a RBC J color, 7.2mm diameter for $6500

J's are only slightly tinted. https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R150-CTWYT6 That stone has potential. But you have to make sure the fluorescence isn't making it hazy. You need to ask them to pull the stone and examine it for you to make sure it is not 'overblue' and that the fluorescence i...

Re: What to choose ...

You have no idea what you are doing. You are wasting money looking at VVS stones. The entire purpose of faceting a diamond is to reflect light. How well or how poorly a diamond does this determines how beautiful it is. How well a diamond performs is determined by the angles and cutting. This is why ...

Re: Newbie with $6.5k budget needs advice.

I wouldn't go below G and VS2. I would optimize the cut, clarity and color and see for my budget what carat i get. This is not good advice. An I Si1 that is eyeclean could be the best for his budget. Or an H. And they will face up white. There is no reason to stick with G and above. As for VS2. No ...

I'd book a Catamaran cruise around the bay.

As for places to eat, what do you like to eat? There are so many places to eat, need to know what you guys like.

This is for anyone who thinks that birthcontrol is where we should draw the line at the ridiculous spending of public funds. http://www.wsj.com/articles/use-of-taxpayer-money-for-pro-sports-arenas-draws-fresh-scrutiny-1425856677 and http://consumerist.com/2015/07/13/john-olivers-rousing-speech-ralli...

Re: Low Income Women to Lose Birth Control

Subsidized programs helped me so that I didn't have any children until I wanted to - carefully planned, wanted children, that I could afford, and that I had full insurance coverage for. It should clearly remain an option - if you need proof, the Colorado study should be all you need to see. Well, t...

Re: Low Income Women to Lose Birth Control

But the prevailing state of mind here is, eh, whatever, Medicaid will take care of me, Medicaid will take care of my baby. Not *I* will take care of me, *I* will take care of my baby. Not just for the young girls either, there's a good n' plenty number of adult women who feel this way. Free birth c...

Re: Low Income Women to Lose Birth Control

Gypsy, I've enjoyed your jewelry posts. If memory serves, you are one of the stars here. So I'm disappointed that you choose to personally attack me. My views about birth control are economic; however, my views about abortion are moral. Just because I don't want to be unkind doesn't mean I'm untrut...

Re: Low Income Women to Lose Birth Control

Anna, I'm not going to comment on the bulk of what you said. But, I do want to explain one thing to you. To a single mom with a kid who works two jobs just to be able to feed her kid even $30 a month for a prescription is the difference between her kid eating real veggies and meat once a week, inste...

Re: Can one use .25 and .30 in an eternity band?

No. Not unless you do them in a pattern of every other. The size difference will be noticable. Just call up a good vendor like Wink at HPD and work with him to get you the rest of the stones. You don't need a lab report for stones that size if you shop at a vendor that reputable. A Sarin on them is ...

Re: D VS1 or E VVS2-H&A for same price?

I wouldn't pay for either clarity.

I would go for an F VS2. You won't be able to tell it apart from either of those with the naked eye. And you can either save the money for a nicer setting, or the wedding.
