Re: Anyone live in DUBLIN? Has anyone heard from TRAVELINGG

Nearly 5 feet tall! WOW how the time has passed. I remember both your weddings so vividly, Deco and T-gal. Both of them so "you". And T-gal's "guest book" and Deco's lovely barn. Good times. Ellen's squirrel saga. Ahhh. Still makes me smile. Things have changed. But the more they...

Re: Now I really did it :((

LLJsmom, Thank you, my friend. I will let you know. Right now there really isn't much of anything anyone can do, unfortunately, including me. But if there is, I will reach out, I promise. Even if it is just to talk. Right now, I'm just feeling talked out (talked to my therapist for an hour on the ph...

Re: Another Dilemma - VC Custom or Local Design Chosen by my

* * * Correct, the six prong solitaire is not on Mondial's website, aside from the splash page. There are two rose/white gold rings there and I believe it is the solitaire. Can you capture it for us via a screen shot? I'm not seeing it & my curiosity is piqued! ;)) (ETA there are designs which ...

Get the original setting she wants. It's just a solitaire. I sincerely think that's the best way to go.

Re: Value Old European Cut over 12ct

Getting the girdle rehabilitated is very affordable. Send it as is to one lf the two appraisers in the US to have it unmounted and appraised. They can send it to Jewels by Grace or Good Old Gold for the girdle repair and a repolish.. After that is done you can have it reset. Okay? If you do this, t...

Make sure there is no haziness in the F.

Ask Denise if she can take a picture or a video side by side.

Re: What constitutes an inspired by piece vs. stealing desig

Regarding the 'perfection issue'. It's an interesting perspective. I've gone on Colored Stones and yes, been intimidated, but at the same time I am very appreciative of the assistance (and bluntness) of the helpful posters on there because they have helped me avoid purchases that would have eventual...

Re: Could someone share your knowledge with this stone 54% t

Recent experiences have made me very leary of twinning wisps as primary inclusions. A friend ordered a Vs2 with twining wisps that looked spectacular from all images AND a high resolution video. In person and next to another Vs2 without it was visibly hazy. So the wisps concern me. I will be doing a...

Re: Which James Allen solitaires will be flush with band?

They do show the profiles. They are all videos. Most have both a CAD video and a bunch of thumbnails with real life settings. All of which rotate all the way around. They go around and around and you can see the entire profile. Yes, I can recommend a settings that allow a flush fit band. ...

Re: What constitutes an inspired by piece vs. stealing desig

While this may not apply to the OP of the thread Gypsy linked, I think the limited number of PS-"recommended/approved" vendors is part of the reason why people go to BE, DK, etc. instead of the creator of the original design. I have seen threads asking about Lauren B, Brilliant Earth, etc...

Re: Left Labels Right as Racists

I don't think he'd have any issue hiring you in theory. To date I have seen no evidence that he has any standards at all for his campaign managers. In fact, I'd say you are probably just as inept as the rest of them. That said, you aren't WHITE. Which seems to be his primary criteria. So maybe he wo...

Re: What constitutes an inspired by piece vs. stealing desig

that setting is what they would call in 'real estate speak' very buyer-specific . You were blunt, but right. I love the tact implicit in that. "Buyer specific" huh? Most of my cats are "owner specific" quirky beasts. But yes, that setting was love it or hate it. With most people...

Re: 3 stone ring and jeweler said don't get platinum setting

I have to agree. Your jeweler doesn't sound like they have a good bench. I'm sorry. The problem isn't the metal. It's their skill level.

I don't have a house (yet???) but I have done (you wouldn't believe how much) research on 100s of kitchen finishes in person, including cabinet types, and appliances. I'd likely listen to Gypsy over me since she's seen TONS more CADS than I have. You were looking to your own ring. The pro...

Okay so , I got to talk to my therapist today and am in a much better head space. She doesn't care about the insurance issue, if she has to do it pro-bono she will. I'm in "crisis" as she puts it, and that is what matters to her. She's such a good therapist. I have fingers and toes crossed...
