Re: What one most important thing do you do just for yoursel

I need to do more for myself. But I've discovered I need two major things. Alone time with a book. And that my surroundings really affect my mood. So for me reading is key. I need alone time, and reading gives me that. I typically read 8 hours or more a week. Sometimes the best Friday nights are me ...

If your setting budget is tight, these are the best budget settings that do not compromise quality for a cushion solitaire I know of: http://www.stuller.com/products/build/122089/10315844/?groupId=120319#/center-stone Any jeweler can get it for you. Re: Asscher cut madness

If there isn't a set date you have in mind, I recommend, personally, that you wait maybe 6 months and save up a bit more. Alternately, if you have the option. In my opinion the best thing you can do is order the D stone I picked for you from ED. It had a 6mm spread, a great price. And D color to boo...

Re: Asscher cut madness

It's not the number of the inclusions only. It's where they are placed on the stone. Whether they risk safety (VS2 and above do not) and how large the inclusion is. You could have an SI2 that has a clarity grade based solely on clouds not shown. That means there's clouds everywhere and they probably...

Re: Opinions on adding another band

I also have this band (which I got off ebay pre-owned): http://www.bluenile.com/riviera-sapphire-diamond-ring_21209?elem=img&track=product I wear it with my set or instead of my wedding band. Also, I wouldn't get anything new, personally unless there is something specific you want. You can get s...

Re: Opinions on adding another band

Your rings look a little snug. Adding another ring might require you to size your current rings up.

I would add a nice colored stone and diamond ring between the two. You can see the one I wear sometimes in this thread: http://www.pricescope.com/forum/show-me-the-ring/wedding-ring-ideas-t169840.html

Re: Asscher cut madness

I love and adore this one: https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/Cushion/GIA-Certified-1-05-Carat-D-Color-VS2-Clarity-Diamond-3P5MJY 6mm square. D color VS2 clarity. Amazing faceting and performance. The medium blue fluorescence is cool too. (just check to make sure the stone isn't over blue)....

I think that Diamondseeker's suggestion of a modern cushions is brilliant.

Pick the nicest one you can find. If you want more options, I am happy to help you find a stone as well.

Re: Help finding 3-4 carat oval

If you are in SF often, I live here in the bay area. If you want to see what Joe Escobar can do for you, call them up (in Campbell). And I can come meet you with my ASET scope and we can evaluate stones together. You can also get a stone from GOG or B2C or BE and bring it in to compare. Joe Escobar ...

Re: Help me decide on a setting for my 2.01 antique carat pe

Something like this but with a single halo and bright cut pave with 1/2 pointers around the stone would be very nice.

Re: Help me decide on a setting for my 2.01 antique carat pe

I think a split shank would be lovely. My only suggestion is doing it bright set, because I think the fluidity of the melee accentuates the shape of both the slip and the pear. And you could millgrain it if you where so inclined. I agree with the brightcut suggestion. I think pears look amazing with...

Raise the IQ rate of everyone 30 points and make a broad very intensive general educate program mandatory that stresses tolerance, individuality and self responsibility. You can just start a new post titled "Gypsy". Other's have.

That said, those facets if they flash are a positive, and I think they will. Obviously a video would be most helpful to determine that.

There's also this one: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.23-carat-h-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-636465 which gets you to just shy of 7mm! Re: help me choose these two

There is nothing wrong with fluorescence, so I'm going to ignore that part of your specs. Medium or Faint are fine and actually desireable in a near colorless stones. All you have to do is ask the vendor to make sure the stone is not 'over blue' (and medium/faint are highly unlikely to be). Here are...

Re: How much do you care about this US Presidential election

I am kinda apathetic about life right now. So I don't really have the ability to feel "tremendously" about anything. But I care as much as I possibly can. So I'd give it a 9. I feel there is no option but a democrat in the White House. All of the Republican candidates are disasters. One wo...
