+1 vote for the enchant: if people don't often wear engagement rings where you live an ering would be even more noticed ! |

I agree that anything under 2mm is too thin...especially for a ring meant to secure a diamond. |

Re: Sigh. My setting horror story
I agree with what the other posters have said, send you stone back to WF and ask them to set it for you...it's your best bet. Re: Cartier Love bracelet with 10 diamonds?
Some wear a sport wristband over their Love to prevent deep scratches when they're especially active (sports, gardening, house cleaning...), haven't tried yet myself but it sounded like a good idea when I was told about it! |

Re: Cartier Love bracelet with 10 diamonds?
Most people seem to wear it 24/7 as it's meant to be and accept that it gets scratched. I've always thought that some patina adds to a jewel, it makes it more unique somehow :D I plan on buying one (plain yellow gold, the diamond version is not worth it IMO) and will definitely wear it all the time.... |

Wow, I understand you are disappointed. Can't you ask them to show you another stone in the same size range? Hi all, I’ve been wanting to post pictures of our wedding set ever since we got married in May but kept forgetting! Re: Unplated White Gold?
I do have an unplated white gold ring that I love because there's no need to replate it and it's developed a nice patina. If your fiance liles this look (it's not as shiny as plated white gold) he has to see it in person. Mine comes from Cartier who calls it grey gold but I'm certain it can be found... |
