Re: Best way to turn a faint brown diamond pinkish w/ settin

I like it on the penny! It looks peach on my monitor, not pink or brown. How does it look IRL? I don't like it against the white metal at all. It'll look amazing in this type of setting. http://www.pricescope.com/forum/show-me-the-ring/my-gorgeous-dainty-erd-rose-gold-halo-omb-t191094.html

Re: Best way to turn a faint brown diamond pinkish w/ settin

Pink diamonds will probably compete with the center stone. It won't make it look more pink. Have you tried putting the diamond on a shiny penny to see if it picks up any pink?

Re: Yesterday daughter #2 totaled her car...

Give her the insurance money and make her buy her own car ... with your help of course but not adding a penny to the pot. Then tell daughter #1 to grow up if she is jealous. I dunno why you ask, we all know they have you wrapped around their pinkies and you will buy both brand new cars then complai...

Re: If you were to go "belly up" tomorrow ...

I don't think I'd leave anything important for my (potential) son to give to his spouse. Divorce is so common these days, who knows if it'll stay in the family should they separate?

Hell no! #2 will already get half the house, and now she wants my jewelry too? Pfft. ;)) All my jewelry were purchased by me, prior to marrying him, including my big oec. Every piece I own is inventoried and my will dictates where each piece goes. Mom will get the bulk of it, then my sister, because...

Re: Why Food Stamps Are NOT A Scam

Our family of 2 spend about $200 a week on groceries. That doesn't including eating out on weekends, and lunch during the week.

Re: How do you refer to your non-blood relatives?

I address them as Aunt ABC & Uncle XYZ when I speak to them. However, when someone asks, "who is that man standing next to the woman in blue/red/purple?", I respond with, "that is my aunt's husband." If I say, "that is my uncle", the next question is usually, "...

Re: A $35K ring or a $35K car?

Ring. Because I will search for a deal and ONLY get it if I can pay $35k for a 45k ring, so the ring will always be worth at least what I paid, no matter the depreciation rate. The car will lose a ton right off the lot, especially since our work parking lot is outdoors and almost every car over 10 y...

The setting is completely open so there's a lot of room for finger squish to spread. A size 2.25 can probably fit a size 2.75-3 finger. It's my size!! Anyone want to buy it for me?

Re: What color polish are you rocking right now?

I will say that if you like two colors that look almost the same online, they probably look the same in person. I gave away about 15 bottles that have twins. Google the colors and see if someone has blogged about them, and pick one, or else you'd end up with 20 bottles of reds and pinks! (different...

Re: Have you ever shaved/waxed there … yes, down there?

I used to shave, but my hair (everywhere) is very straight and shaving or trimming turns them into tiny skin/underwear-shredding needles. Your tender bits HURT when one of those tiny needles poke! So I started plucking, which was very time consuming, and decided to try waxing... once. Never again. T...

Re: What color polish are you rocking right now?

I love OPI but they smell for at least 2 days, and I can't stand it. Essie is too watery and streaky for the lighter colors, and some of the creams can be very thick. I haven't had any luck with it. I've tried other brands but most have a really bad smell so I stopped buying them. Zoya is my favorit...

Re: Just felt an earthquake here in LA

I would freak out if I felt a big earthquake in this country. I was traumatized by the great Hanshin earthquake. There are possibilities that earthquakes hit the West Coast in the neat future.
