Re: OEC or MRB pendant under $2000

I'll message you after you start a link! ::) I don't really have too many tips, as I keep my searches general. I just spend a LOT of time going through the listings.

Re: Simple pearl pendant needed. Where to go?

Well, you couldn't go wrong with the Pearl Paradise pendant. Depending on what you're looking for... Pearllunar is a vendor on eBay. Many people on this forum have purchased things from them with good results. They have some interesting colors and a variety of pendants from time to time. They tend ...

Re: Simple pearl pendant needed. Where to go?

Sadly, the etsy route was vetoed. He doesn't trust them to be real pearls. Looks like Pearl Paradise is the only way to go, unless someone can recommend another vendor who might have cuter bales? I'm really not liking that long bale.

Re: OEC or MRB pendant under $2000

You might want to start a WTB listing on DB or LT, so people may contact you with ebay links they find. There are lots of lurkers here and I'd hate to see something snatched up before you see it!

Re: Simple pearl pendant needed. Where to go?

I'm leaning towards this in lavendar and WG, because I like that it's not fixed and stiff looking. But I also don't like how far down it hangs.

Re: Simple pearl pendant needed. Where to go?

It's for my SIL to wear until she wants to give it to her daughter. I'm not sure she's too into pearls, so I don't want to commit her to adding a pearl for each birthday.

Simple pearl pendant needed. Where to go?

Hi!

My SIL just gave birth to a little girl and we want to get her a pearl pendant, probably in pink or lavendar. I don't think she'd want a full strand, so we thought we'd start small. Should I look at any vendor other than Pearl Paradise? I'm not familiar with pearls at all.

Thanks!

Re: would you buy a diamond with a chip?

Wait, the chip is almost 1mm long? Is it 0.9mm wide along the surface? or is it chipped 0.9mm into the diamond?

Re: would you buy a diamond with a chip?

Chips are very common in older cuts. I've taken the chance on several and had them repolished with no issues, but I've made sure that the chips are small or on the very surface only. If they are deeper, I would pass. That's a very pretty ring, and if it is indeed 0.90ct with minimal chips, it's a fa...

Re: What is your Achilles Heel? (food related)

A big piece of spicy fried chicken skin. The crispier, the better. And also spicy tuna with avocado slices on top of rice. Mmmmm!

Re: Hosiery! To wear or not to wear?

Scroll down to this woman's pictures of her wearing dresses after she lost all the weight. She has great legs, but the knees let her down. Her legs would look even better in 7 denier tights in the right colour. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2335123/Being-married-fat-Obese-wife-Taryn-Wri...

Re: Help Please! French cut second chance offer

Did the email come from the seller? I received a second chance offer when I bid on something from that seller and didn't win, but when I looked at the email path, it came from someone else. Be careful. I don't think that seller offers second chance offers. Make sure you look in your ebay messages to...

Re: What are your tricks and tips for surviving long flights

I absolutely detest flying. I should have been born in a gentler age, when travel took forever and consisted mainly of steamers and the Orient Express. Haha, I expect people to smell even worse back then. They didn't bathe as often, remember? Not only would they have smelled worse, you would have b...

Re: What are your tricks and tips for surviving long flights

Keep in mind that I haven't flown U.S. based airlines overseas in a very long time, so I'm not sure if they're still like this. Cramped seats, not a very good selection of movies, terrible food, and the service is just so... not friendly. I usually keep to myself and show up prepared with snacks. Bu...

Re: What are your tricks and tips for surviving long flights

For long oversea flights, I don't book U.S. based airlines. If there are only two people travelling, and the seat configuration is 3-4/5-3, I always book the center section with aisle seat. I pee a lot, and I rather climb over my travel buddy than a stranger. I also sleep a lot, and I'd hate to bloc...

Re: Protecting furniture from cat scratching

Haha I never thought about that! My cats don't like the S lounge. They wont even go near it! We had to get extra litter box looking loungers because they were fighting over it. Luckily the Homegoods around me had them for $12 so I picked up a bunch.
