Re: My Leon 5 Stone E-ring
Hi: This is going to sound funny - but that is my original center stone! I traded it in with Leon. I am soooo happy that someone has it that loves it. I was having major remorse about giving it up and we even talked about buying it back. I will let you know that there is GREAT karma with it. I have ... |

Re: Old cut pricing
Hi- Thank you again for trying to help me. I understand what you are saying and it makes sense. DreamerD - I did see those two that you put up but didn't think the 3.5ct (GIA J) was a good comp bc this was a 3.2 EGL J (so probably a L/M)??? ..The second one that was a GIA "M" which would m... |

Re: Old cut pricing
Thank you: RockDiamond, Denverappraiser,DreamerD and Jerichosmom: Yes - I wasn't sure if all of these were considered "retailers": i.e. GOG,JBEG,OWD's, etc. And if I were to go into NYC if they had "wholesalers", etc.... I was trying to see if a price on a Old European Cut: (EGL)... |

Old cut pricing
I know it's very difficult to do a "cost compare analysis" on old cuts, so I'm asking all of you for your expertise/experience. Can you give me an idea of what a GIA 3ct L/SI1 would cost or a EGL 3ct J/Vs2 or a GIA 3 ct I/SI1 or any other examples? (preferably over 3ct's if you know). Also... |

Hi Anne! Thank you so much for your response. Okay - I am thinking that the OEC you posted is from OWD's? Hello! Yes it is a GIA I/SI1 ( and the othter report H/SI1)... it appears to be super fantiastic but I couldn't get past the amount but then was thinking that I guess an GIA I is rare in that size?? The mm is 9.62 x 9.41 which seemed smaller than all the other 3.5 stones I looked at. PS Thanks sooo ... |

Re: Would YOU spend $50k for a diamond?
Laila: I know and that's the point. Everyone spends it differently... You do not need to spend a lot to look like a million bucks! Hi Rubybeth: I completely agree with you. I shop at Target, Old Navy, Walmart and Homegoods, etc. all the time! That's my point! I love a good bargain. I enjoy the "look" that one can put together and not always spend a ton. Jewelry though is a bit different. It's typically expensive. That... |
