New pave band
I just wanted to share my new pave diamond band. It is .50 ctw set in 18K yellow gold. I have it paired with my GIA E VS2 .92 oval that DH gifted me with last Christmas. He picked it all by himself <3 |

I prefer gold over platinum because I cannot stand the dullness platinum once it patinas. My set is yellow gold, which I think has a nice, rich look to it. My wedding band is 18K yellow gold with platinum on top where the diamonds are set. It is a very heavy ring...I like the heft, but the platinum ... |

My original e-ring in 1995 was $1500, so DH spent less than 2 months salary. DH purchased an upgraded e-ring for me last Christmas and was pretty close to his 2 month take home but not gross. |

I have to agree that I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing that much money on my hand. I prefer jewelry that I can wear and enjoy daily, and I just can't see myself wearing something that pricey. |

AB- Yay, I've never "met" anyone else with my blood type (not that I go around asking most people, haha!). Weird thing is, the hospital put B- on all my birth paperwork so that's what I grew up thinking, but when I was in HS I was blood-typed and found to be AB-. I insisted it was a mista... |

Your standard solitaire is going to be about all you can get at that price point. Almost every jeweler carries Stuller. Here are a 6 prong and a 4 prong basket setting for an oval. I strongly encourage you to get 6 prongs because your two ends would be very exposed and in danger of getting chipped ... |
