Re: 3.95ct Pink Sapphire Platinum Ring (Vance Gems)
I'm sure your '2nd mother' will be blown away, it's stunning! The sapphire is that perfect shade of pink, (and huge!) and the mount is just so ornate and perfect! One of the most beautiful sapphire rings I've seen anyway! And then you go and throw in your wife's blue sapphire ring too, now that's ju... |

I agree that it could be zircon, I have one that is pretty much it's twin. As chrono said, you should check for DR, might help you a lot. Oh, and beautiful ring btw!

Someone please buy this tourmaline from Litnon: http://www.litnon.com/index.php?page=viewgem&id=7208 It was listed and sold about a year ago. I swooned over it then, and I'm swooning over it now! Alas, it is too expensive for me, and I have to save up a mortgage deposit! Booo!!

Re: Somebody's Gotta Buy This Stone!
I don't know what other people's experience with Jeff's stones are, but I bought an amethyst from him a while ago and while beautiful, it was quite a bit darker than the video. The trillion looks brilliant though so maybe it won't be a problem. Just something to bear in mind. |

I love how they have the ability to say things (often lies) with such conviction. Tsavorite or spessartite. I think purple is pretty easy to co-ordinate with, as long as you don't mind the bold colour combinations. |
