Re: spock vs spock audi commercial

As a long time Star Trek fan, I have to say that this is just the best commercial ever!!! I still love the original series so I am quite partial to Leonard Nimoy but Zachary Quinto is great as the "new Spock". :appl:

Re: The lost art of handwriting...

If you can't use cursive, how do you sign your name on a legal document? Print your name? That would be odd I think. Why do all the niceties of life have to go away? When I write thank you notes I always use cursive. But I guess people don't write those either... There is no rule saying that you mu...

Wow, where to start?!! Amazing stones! Charmed, that ring is super. You obviously have a well trained eye to have found that because you know rings like that are not just lying around! It looks like its very well cut too - and that's what I love about them - they really show off when well cut...

Re: a YELLOW thread

Such gorgeous stones! Cind11, I know your sapphire well, and have admired it many a time on the Finewater site. I hope you'll post lots of pictures when you set it! I'll throw my latest chryso in here too, since we're okay with modifiers. :) Thaaks! I take terrible photos but I will try. Your chrys...

Re: Thinking About Mounting My Ruby

I think I have the sister ruby to yours from Gene. My ring is in this thread http://www.pricescope.com/forum/show-me-the-ring/show-us-your-bezel-rings-t121897-390.html......... I think the setting you are interested in would suit it well.

Edited: that is not taking me to the correct thread. Sorry.

Re: Switzerland

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1yy-DSH5b8 The scenery in that video is lovely. I had to laugh though at the guy they showed on the train who looked like he was sleeping through it all. Pontresina/St. Moritz (side trip to Tirano), and Lauterbrunnen and Lucerne. Our favorite parts was in the Alps. If you have time, do some hiking and you'll be ...

DH and I went to Switzerland last June. It was incredible! We stayed in Wengen and used Chalet Service to find a little apartment to stay in. It was super easy to use, so I would recommend that if you choose to stay in Wengen. We shopped at the local Coop for groceries so we could save some money, ...

YES! We loved Switzerland! I should just ditto JustGinger's post because our experience was so similar. The Berner Oberland region was our favorite. But don't stay in Interlaken, go UP and stay in Murren or Wengen or such. We loved it so much, in fact, that we just named our first born son Brienz (...

We went last March for a ski trip and stayed in Wengen (nearby village to Muerren, where Justginer was) and Zermatt. Yes I do get my cats' teeth cleaned. Not every year, but I take them for checkups every year. If the vet says their teeth need to be cleaner we do it.
