Re: Mother Daughter relationships...are they all so complica

From a biological/evolutionary/anthropological standpoint, same-sex cohorts are rivals, and can lead to tension, even if it's mother/daughter. My mom and I have the best relationship ever now that we are 2,000 miles apart... Ding ding ding..we have a winner folks. I can't type too much today, but l...

Re: Beauty Products You Are Loving...

Good afternoon beauties--I received a sample of Laneige Water Sleeping Mask this morning with my new issue of Allure magazine. The instructions are to cleanse and then apply and keep it on overnight. Re: Share a share a happy memory or 2 of a loved one who is

When I was young I used to go visit my grandparents during one of my week breaks during the school year. I loved being with them, they were a lot of fun. Grandma taught me how to embroider and play cards. To this day I play a mean game of gin rummy. We would garden when the weather permitted and we ...

Re: Emory students afraid of chalk!

Someone on the Emory campus wrote in chalk "vote Trump." This so upset students that group counseling is offered to console them. Anyone else find this beyond rediculous? True I'm not happy about the Trump candidacy, but I can still put one foot in front of the other. Good grief! We have ...

Re: Do you support Trump for president?

As I predicted, it's acceptable to share negative opinions about Trump but not Hillery. Ha! While Donald and Hillery share many political views, I was speaking more to personal attributes. Do you really think Hillery's all that? It's totally acceptable to share negative opinions about Hillary Clint...

Re: What do you NOT care about that most people DO care abou

Cars
phones
computers

I don't care about the latest and greatest. My beloved Saturn Ion s 10 years old, my phone is a flip phone from 2008, I can barely e-mail and couldn't care less about facebook.

I've outlived my time.

Re: Should Hillary have left Bill?

Every person has that tipping point that would cause a break-up, but I don't think Hillary cared WHO Bill boinked, all she was in for it by then was the political connection. I''d have left after finding out the initial infidelity. By sticking with him she said, either directly or indirectly, that i...

If you have ever seen the movie A Face in the Crowd you will realize Trump is Lonesome Rhoades in an expensive suit. A man who cannot be trusted with government power. And truly loathsome.

I suggest, respectfully, that you use Google. There you can see how various news outlets reported the situation. I would feel funny quoting any particular one. But it's out there. I remember reading, and I don't remember where, one of the NY Papers, someone actually saying "If he raped her, too...

Hi, I'd like to give my opinion on why I don't like Hillary. Her baggage is Bill Clinton. Re: What is the oldest item that you own?

I, too, have a house full of old stuff. I have a small collection of flow blue china, the oldest, a sugar bowl, is from about 1860. The other pieces are 1890's to 1920's.
