Congrats! It looks like a lovely stone
 If your current Ering setting has a peg head it might be possible to replace the head, depending on how much space the shoulders allow.. with an integrated head it will be more difficult and may not be possible. I debated whether to post this, but it's RT and if you were just looking at the stone I'd have spoken up, so... it really does look like to be a stunner, but since you're paying for the hearts and arrows brand premium I would ask them to retake that hearts photo before they ship it out to you. The hearts picture could be better (Vs at 11 and 7 o'clock w/o corresponding artifacts opposite). I'm sure it's just the picture, as Brian holds the stones in his signature line to a very high standard.
Like I said, it's a beautiful stone. I'm nitpicky and I would want confirmation of perfect hearts when I'm paying a premium for perfect hearts. In any case even if the stone actually has that deviation it would have no effect on performance IRL. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything

Oooh gotcha...no don't feel bad.I wish I did have hawk eyes,lol.I totally know where your coming from.Trust me I want my money's worth.I was told by a local jeweler that I could pop this head (that sounded nasty like i'm talking about a zit) out of my current setting and that would dramatically change things but I don't new diamond new thing yanno!

I am not as picky as Yssie and would trust Brian about the hearts myself
 It is up to you of course, just depends on your comfort level.The stone is delish and I am very jelous of your 2ct J!! I would love to have a stone over 2ct one day but I doubt that day will come. Ya never know I suppose! Have you seen my setting? I really like it and it would match your wedding band really well, BGD can order it for you and it cost under $500 in 18k. My vote is to get a new setting and then think about what you want in the future. I am not partial to beg heads, though, so popping a new head on yoru current ring would not be my own first choice. |

Lol...hey dreamer ha ha well you showed it to me. thanks to the both of you.I want all opinions and feedback whether its good or bad.I am in love and hadn''t even met the stone yet,lol. I can not see sending this diamond back.Plus my hubby would kick me out if I complained and I shoved all that info about diamonds down his throat.Don''t get me wrong I will send something back if it isn''t right but you know when its meant to be.
As far as the setting.I want something different so I''m not too set on changing the head.Something simple and elegent would be great.I love your diamond and setting.I''ll have to check on that one then with BGD. Don''t feel bad I am sure I will go up.He''s not trying to hear that right now and I don''t blame him.So i''ll let things die down hehe. |

I suggested my setting because I really think it will perfectly match your wedding band! And then you can still wear it easily which would be so great for the sentiment. The profile and the shape of the two shanks looks really similar. But there would be a gap. You are going to go mental when you get your new diamond. What size if your princess cut? Your new one is going to feel like a boulder on your hand. ETA Are you havingh the diamond sent to you loose? No girl, you need a setting for it so you can wear it right away! |

Back in the day poor hubby knew nothing nor did I so I picked the first thing that was cute to me.You couldn''t tell me nothing with my bling on ha ha.
I can only imagine how its going to feel once I''m wearing my new stone.Yes I gotta get things going tomorrow once I pick it up from FedEx so I can have it set.I can not deal with not being able to wear it.Its going to be crazy in this house as long as its loose,lol. |
