In todays WSJ, front page, it talks about consumers finally moving away from high end items due to the price of gas over $3.00 per gallon. This is new. Does not sound like a good thing for the economy, especially with Ford cutting production over 20% for remainder of the year, SUV''s not selling, due to high gas prices and shrinking equities in housing market.
I wonder if any of the online diamond retailers would weigh in on this and let us know if sales are off, or are sales off on largerr size diamonds and people going to smaller diamonds to save money.
