Tools such as SARIN and ASETs are primarily used by brick and mortar jewelry stores to make up for a lack of gemological expertise or to impress customers. Our vendors usually have more experience than diamond graders, and to them a SARIN or ASET is far less useful than their trained eyes and therefore don't use those tools at all.

Yes, but when buying a fancy cut you can't judge by numbers alone.
