It may be the brown undertone in the stone, but something is making it look dark to me. Are you looking specifically for a Canadian diamond and is VVS clarity necessary for you?

Compared to the other stones in the sameish specs it seems to be priced low...and there usually is a reason. Have you called
JA and asked them about the stone and the tint?

I did a live chat to get the advantage price. Maybe my eyes are bad but I'm not seeing the brown tint... I will chat and ask. Thanks!

Without a doubt there is a brown tint. I can see it quite obviously.

Follow this link http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-dia...=Images&TabSelected=3&DiamondID=580088,599332 and look above the images of the two stones where it says "change view". Click the button with the 4 little diamond symbols to bring up the "side view". You should be able to see a distinct difference between the yellow tinted I and the brown tinted I.
