What size Shank should I get?

hi CD! Which Mark are you talking about?  I can tell you that I have a size 5 finger and my band is 3mm (maybe 3.2mm but haven't gotten the finished ring appraised yet) and I don't think it's chunky at all. I tried on different width bands and prefered the slightly wider size of 3mm, rather than the 2mm or 2.5mm. But I think a 2.5mm is good if you don't want too thin or too chunky. Here is a link to my ring so you can see the 3mm width on a size 5 hand. Hope this helps

Id say no wider than 3mm. I wear a 5.5 and mine is just under 2mm.

but with a 3.71ct diamond, i don''t think i would want under a 3mm band to hold that thing up

there is no right or wrong mm size, it''s what you/she likes.my wife wears a size 4.75 ring with a 4mm shank.
