Hi Woo.

The short answer is that the EGL Gem ID Card is an authentic EGL document. It's the size of a credit card and should have basics of shape, measurements, carat, color and clarity. If mounted, the card will also include a description of the setting.

Use of the word 'certified' is not appropriate (with any grading lab). Though the documents are nicknamed 'certificates' by some, they really are not 'certifying' or guaranteeing anything. It is subjective grading. I always call them 'lab reports' or 'grading reports' to avoid implied confusion. More discussion about that is ongoing, in this thread.

I have another question~
is there difference between complete EGL certification and EGL GEM ID card?
EGL GEM ID card is reliable?
is EGL GEM ID card valuable?

You're welcome. For more, read about the differences in reports here:

It's still a bit like fingernails on a blackboard to me when anyone calls this 'certification.'

Neither the GIA or AGS call their grading documents 'certificates.' The EGL actually does, which seems a misnomer.
