Someone send me these specks on a diamond, what do you think?
1 ct Diamond stud earrings

• 14 karat white gold

• Two 5.2 mm round prong set diamonds = 1.00 cttw, color J-K; clarity= I3

• 5.9 grams gold weight, polished finish

• Post and friction backs for pierced ears only

I3 clarity is pretty included.


You don't know anything on the cut, are the diamonds certified?

No, you can't sacrifice clarity that much. Diamonds of I3 clarity are considered good for industrial work, not jewelry. If your budget is fixed, then you may need to get smaller earrings for now. SI2 or fairly clean I1 is as low as I would go.

Here are approx. 0.75ctw I SI2 set in yellow gold for $995

If size and budget are both issues, perhaps cz is the way to go.
