Hi All,
I have finally located my Royal Asscher stone from a vendor in another state. I have a few questions about obtaining an independent appraisal in Metro Boston area:
1) I have heard about Martin Haske and Adamas Lab. Any other ones anyone can recommend, in case I cannot get in touch with Mr. Haske
2) Should I watch the appraising process the whole time to ensure no stone swapping occurs, or is the trade pretty honest
3) Can an accurate apprasal be done if the stone is mounted on a setting
4) Are independent appraisers pretty harsh with RAC when appraising the value (considering the premium over generic Asschers in the market) or do they consider the sparse branded cut when appraising the value
BTW the stone is an H-color 2.81 carat VS1 c;arity. pol/symm VG, No Fluorescence, table %55 depth %66.9 measurement 7.91 x 7.92 x 5.25 mm
Ant feedback on the stone is welcome
Thanks alot for everyone's help
Aron
