Vendor says one thing... Ideal scope says another?

I am getting it set in rose gold, and upon looking at them in person in a rose gold setting I decided that having colorless was very important. Hence my searches going D-F.

You guys would think something like this is more preferred?

That's a very nice stone!

If you're going to explore it any further, also consider this one, which has a much different 'flavor' than the stones you've been looking at, but might be to your liking.

You can ask Jon at GOG to make a video of the stones you like, so you can compare them side-by-side!

I happen to think this particular stone is one of the best choices available at the moment. It is soooo close to a carat at 6.3mm, yet it avoids the price jump of a carat. It is ideal cut, technically not superideal, yet it has a great idealscope image. I, personally, would rather have it because of the increased size and I think the images are better. I think G is high enough to set in rose gold, too.

What setting are you wanting?

Just man up and buy one! You aren't going to go wrong with a super ideal cut, if you need the peace of mind.
