After feeling great about my selection and no second thoughts, my diamond is no more. Vatche cracked it.

...ugh.

So, it''s time to regroup, I guess. Any help/thoughts on these two princesses would be greatly appreciated. My budget for the diamond is around $5,000-6,000. Looking for something just over the 1 ct mark, that is clean to the eye, and will give that wow. Thanks in advance, anyone.

I have a question though, since Vatche cracked your stone while it was being set, who''s responsible? Or did you already have insurance on the stone?

I like the squareness of the second one, plus its somewhat deeper pavilion, combined with the shallower crown. And very good consistency in the Helium-measurement.
