U-prong Eternity Diamond Band Owners

Hello!
I'm in the process of replacing my diamond eternity band that was lost. Shared prong, 15 pointers, ~2.8 ctw.
I wore it for almost 10 years with no problems. I really love the Whiteflash Annette U-Prong band I but am wondering if there are any safety issues with the diamonds being exposed? And if it would be a different feel than the shared prong?

So for those that may have a u-prong band...have you had an issues with stones (have you had to have repairs) and is it comfortable to wear? I will wear daily for the most part but do not sleep, clean, exercise, etc, with any of my rings on.

Mine is the Annette uprong with .10 pointers. I wear it all the time, very comfy. Not chipped anything in 18 months!

I have a 5ct asscher band with .25 in a white gold u-prong. I am careful when I wear it but not overly so, I haven't had any problems but it is insured JIC.
