I’ll try to break down everything.
In regards with the Novo I either get the real thing or nothing, I don’t really want to buy a copy…
I managed to speak to my GF about rings without sounding suspicious, she likes the Novo and likes rings with a Princess cut, she doesn’t really like big rings and because due to her work she is not able to use the ring while at work, I want to buy her the best diamond I can, without being too big. That’s why I choose H colour and VVS clarity.

I really like the Petite Open cathedral it looks really nice. I’ll need to look for a rock to match it.
