Well, I would look at Whiteflash for sure. I will tell you where I worked a girl had a HOF and I had my Whiteflash stone and they both were gorgeous and then another girl had a HOF and it didn't look as nice (not sure if she just didn't clean her diamond). All I can say is that I would find a stone from WF you will save a lot of money! Hearts on Fire charges more since they are a brand and look for H&A pattern and WF does the same thing and looks for the best cut stones in the A Cut Above so I prefer saving money. I did a search and you can save a little over 1/2 the price for a 1.5 carat G SI1 http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-1148586.htm and another stone D SI1 http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-906711.htm and then this one H VS1 http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-1151319.htm |

Hi goodys,
HOF is more expensive because it''s a brand, and you are paying for the name. Any very well cut H&A diamond will be beautiful, whether it has a name behind it or not, it''s about the cut, not the brand. There are many vendors that carry extremely well cut stones, WF being one, but not the only one. I just say that so it doesn''t limit your choices (though they don''t always have what one is looking for). Skippy found you some nice stones, and I''ll throw a few more examples in the pot. With any SI1, you always need to ask if eyeclean. On these, the bankwire price below regualr price is the discount. http://goodoldgold.com/diamond/4563/ http://goodoldgold.com/diamond/4606/ (an H, not sure if you would be interested) http://goodoldgold.com/diamond/4495/ http://goodoldgold.com/diamond/4317/ (another possibility, though H, and the grading report is not up) http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/H-SI1-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1184244.asp Any of these companies would be fine to work with, it''s just a matter of who has what you decide you want/like. HTH! |

Like sparxs111 said. Buying a tiffany would be pretty much the same as buying a HOF. Both will be great quality for a big premium because of their name. If you go with one of the recommended vendors here, you will be getting just as good-- if not better-- quality, for a much smaller price. To me it''s a no brainer, but some people would rather have the name brand backing up their jewelry. That''s fine too, I just can''t afford it
